  5/18/2026 Storm pulled meter box from the house had to replace. Brandon are service tech was very professional, courteous, and polite. He explained all of are options to fix our service. I would definitely recommend Ryan Electric and will use for future needs.

  Dylan from Ryan Electric fixed an outlet than needed replacement. He suggested several items that might need replacement soon due to age as well. Courteous, knowledgeable, and worked efficiently. I highly recommend Dylan for any electrical repair or modification one may need.

Our experience with Ryan Electric of Lenexa Ks and Cole the electrician was exceptional and we are completely satisfied with the extensive work they performed at our home in April 2026 starting when a real person answered the phone and scheduled a tech to come the very next day. Our AC unit would not start due to loose circuit breaker in the panel. We replaced the recalled panel entirely, upgrading its capacity, and added several items to the job including a whole-house surge protector (we had previously replaced kitchen appliance circuit boards) and a few outdoor outlets and wall switch. We reviewed the Ryan Electric BBB accreditation and license in Johnson County KS before hiring to ensure all were current. Great communication! I received email and text messages as appointment reminders. I received a call and a text when with electrician was on his way with photo of the tech for safety and security. Cole was prompt, arriving right on time. We worked with Cole, a very knowledgeable and pleasant professional, who provided a quote during his first service call and sent a PDF copy via email. He wrote up the estimate with great details and itemization and explained the pricing to help us decide which items to include or exclude based on our budget. We did not feel pressured to make decisions and had plenty of time to research and review. I was impressed by the respect Cole showed for our home, putting on shoe covers and taking care around pets. We needed to replace a 30 year old unsafe electric service panel, ground rod, and exposure at the utility meter. Cole walked us through several options to make it affordable and educated us on industry service codes and safety like adding a CO detector in the basement. When Cole returned a few days later to do the big job he brought a 3-man crew and had already coordinated with city inspector’s permit and utility company. Each electrician on the crew, under Cole’s leadership, tackled various tasks like pulling wires, installing outlets and switches. They were careful to minimize dust and kept areas clean with sheeting even when cutting drywall. It was a day-long job but they worked efficiently and kept us informed of progress. When finished, Cole walked us around the house to explain every detail. He was thorough and showed concern for our safety and satisfaction. We appreciate the high-quality service, professionalism, and this positive experience for such an important home improvement.

  We used Ryan Electric to help us change a few fixtures in our new house. Brandon and Bailey arrived on time, were pleasant, and easy to work with. They worked carefully around our furniture and put down flooring protection in the areas they worked. They offered us suggestions on different switch options which we were delighted to choose. While Brandon worked one project, Bailey skillfully worked the other and between the two of them resolved the three electrical concerns our builder just couldn’t seem to figure out. Kudos to Bailey and Brandon and we’re sticking with Ryan Electric for any future electrical needs…of course we’re going to specifically ask for Brandon and Bailey when we call.
