  I hate to leave a review like this because we’ve used this company before (sump pump installation and support piers) and had a good experience—but this most recent project has been extremely disappointing. Considering it only cost me $200 to complete the job, an appropriate response to this trouble includes a poor Google review. Even though they did acceptable work in the past, this most recent job involved: Taking full payment without completing the work. Repeated no-shows. Minor property damage and cleanup left to you. Lack of communication and accountability. We reached out in mid-February and were scheduled for early May. The first few days of work (May 5–7) went well, and communication was solid. We were told the project would wrap up shortly after, including reinstalling flooring by May 8. We paid the full invoice of $10,015 on May 13 in good faith. After that, everything fell apart. Crews repeatedly no-call/no-showed on May 21, 23, 27, and 29. Each time, we were told they would “probably” come out on a later date—but they never did. Communication became almost nonexistent after payment was made, with no response at all after May 29. As of June 12 (30+ days later), the job was still not complete. Because of the delays and lack of follow-through, our flooring was damaged and never reinstalled as promised. We were told to find our own solution for flooring, even though the damage resulted from their work. The crew left dirt, debris, bricks, and concrete chunks along the side of our house—on top of decorative landscaping we had installed. We were left to clean up both the interior and exterior mess ourselves. To make matters worse, we were later told the project was “finished”—it absolutely was not. There was no final walkthrough completed by the owner, even though that was part of the process. We ultimately had to hire another contractor to complete the job, who had no issues doing so. This situation could have been avoided with basic accountability and communication. Instead, once payment was received, the follow-through completely disappeared. I genuinely don’t know what changed from our previous positive experience, but this was unacceptable. I tried to resolve things directly before considering a review or filing a complaint, but got no response. If you choose to work with this company, I strongly recommend not paying in full upfront and ensuring clear expectations around timelines and completion.
