  If you’re looking for an honest, reputable company, that will own up to and correct mistakes when they’re made; this is not the company for you. We had some issues with the supports in our crawlspace and had them come out and give us an estimate. The salesman that came out seemed knowledgeable and was friendly so I scheduled work to be done. The work crew showed up on time but upon backing into my driveway, the spotter did not see my cable/internet line and the truck hit the cable. They either hit it hard or didn’t stop when they hit it and pulled the fascia board and cable connector loose from my house. Accidents happen and my internet was still working so I wasn’t too upset about it. I called the office to talk to somebody about getting it fixed. I spoke to a CSR who said that they were going to send a message to the management team and they would reach out to me. I waited 4 or so hours and didn’t get a call back, so I called back and CSR person that I spoke to told me that they were having issues with their phone lines. In the meantime, the foreman tells me that the salesman wanted the crew to put the jacks directly where the HVAC runs. Obviously they’re not going to move the HVAC so they had to draw up a whole new plan to correct the crawl space issues. They ended up not using all of the materials that I was initially invoiced for so the foreman told me that he would get with their supervisor and get a change order issued. We are now over a month out from the service, I have called at least once a week every week trying to get the issues fixed. At one point I spoke to Freddie, a member of the management team, and he said that I would need to get the repairs done to the fascia board and send him the invoice to be reimbursed. Fine. At this point, I’m over it. He says that he is going to text me his email address to send the invoice to. I never got a text from him. He also stated that he would get the change order drawn up and sent over to me. Absolute crickets since then. At this point, I am out the money to have the damage to my house repaired. And I am paying for materials that were not used for my home. If communication and honesty are what you’re looking for, avoid this company at all costs.

  Absolutely garbage & wasted my money. For something so expensive, my little sump pump did lot better than this set up. I can’t ever get ahold of someone to get back with me! Been fighting it for two weeks now. I get told I’ll get with a superintendent & then didn’t hear nothing, called back two days later than I got out on a call within 24 hours list. Still nothing! I Called today 8/19/26 and was told I’d talk to someone today & NEVER did! Bunch of scamming punks!! 0/10.

  Disappointed with Groundworks Indiana I’m disappointed with the experience we’ve had with Groundworks Indiana. The work performed in our crawl space was not completed correctly. The required weep holes were not installed, and the grading for the drain was not done properly. About six months later, we had Groundworks come back out to inspect the work. They verified that these issues had, in fact, not been completed correctly and told us they would schedule the necessary work to fix them. Unfortunately, it has now been almost a month, and despite my attempts to follow up, I have not been able to get a response or a clear schedule for when the work will actually be completed. I understand that scheduling and repairs can take time, but when a company has inspected its own work, confirmed that it was not done correctly, and then fails to follow through on correcting it, that is very frustrating. I’m leaving this review respectfully because I hope Groundworks will take responsibility for the situation, communicate with us, and actually complete the work that was promised. At this point, the lack of follow-up has been very disappointing.

  Extreme high-pressure sales tactics. Beware. I had Groundworks out to inspect my basement and the entire experience felt incredibly predatory. The salesman completely ignored my boundaries. He stayed in my home for four straight hours (from 1 PM to 5 PM), stretching out the presentation until I experienced total forced fatigue. I told him multiple times that I needed time to think about the investment, as I was quoted for two different options 1st option at $30,000 and the 2nd option at $17,000,and explore other financing options. Instead of respecting that, he used intense high-pressure tactics—pushing a "same-day only" 5% discount and aggressively pressuring me into applying for a credit line on his tablet. I felt completely trapped in my own home and ended up agreeing just to get him to leave. I immediately called the company to cancel the payment and the credit line. A reputable contractor should rely on the quality of their work, not psychological wear-down tactics. Beware of their sales process.

  When I needed new foundation support, they were right there! I’ve used them on 2 projects in the same house and was satisfied with the work (except they didn’t hang a curtain for dust like was promised, so entire upstairs needed cleaning MULTIPLE times!). Then I had a part of the basement that still seeped water. We had someone out on 6/29/26 and he acknowledged the problem, but couldn’t offer a solution. So he said that someone else would contact us to set up another appointment. My wife called 1 week later and requested someone. Then she called 2 weeks later to see if someone was coming. Still nothing! I called on 7/29 to ask for someone with knowledge to examine our problem and offer a solution. I was told that a manager would call to schedule. I waited a week 8/5 and called again. And asked how long I should expect it to take for a manager to call? 24-48 hours was the response. I shared that it had been 1 week and I was still not contacted AND was going to alert the BBB to my problem. I received a call within 30 minutes! He asked for details and pictures and COMMITTEd to having someone call me back by end of day (6 PM EDT!) and schedule an appointment. I’ve since texted and no response 2 1/2 hours after 6. I really don’t ask for much, just do what you say you’ll do. Indiana Foundation Service absolutely DOES NOT do what they say they’ll do when there’s an issue!
