  Walk near one of their trucks and your going to get a contact high. Its 9am and they are still at the gasstation, "hey dont forget to grab a classic swisher so we can roll one up". Aside of the marijuana, other drugs and alcohol use on the job and never finishing jobs on time, your going to end up paying more than originally estimated by alot because the sales men never actually know what your home actually needs. They won't crawl in your crawlspace for a proper estimate they will just use their judgements because god forbid they get dirty. You need 4 jacks? Well prepare for 6 at $1300 each, and by this point they are already in your crawlspace and have been working 4 days on a 5 day project and jacks take atleast 2 days for proper installment. Go with a smaller company who might actually care.

  Installation crew was professional and informative. Work was completed timely and exceeded my expectations. Great experience on the install. Nice work! The contract/pricing of the job was somewhat of a disappointment as multiple contracts/prices were submitted for the job and the worked performed on-site didn’t line up with the contract I had signed. Seems there was some sales/office back and forth between two commissioned sales reps that caused a lack of clear communication on what the job would entail. Not a great/positive customer facing appearance for the company. In the end, my site foreman got things cleared up resolving the price with the work that was performed and I am quite satisfied with the end result. Nice work Devon, Austin, Todd, and Mike!

  Mark Gladish was absolutely wonderful to work with! He took the time to answer what felt like a million questions, showed me pictures, and walked me through the entire process so I knew exactly what to expect. Knowing that Groundworks is correcting work previously done by other companies, I had quite a few questions, particularly about warranties and making sure I was protected moving forward. Mark took the time to explain everything thoroughly. He even followed up the next day to answer more questions, thoroughly explained all of my financing options, and provided a clear timeline for when the work would begin and how long the project should take. I really appreciated his patience, knowledge, transparency, and communication. I never felt rushed or pressured, and I felt like he genuinely wanted me to understand what I was investing in. Mark is a great representation of Groundworks. If the rest of the experience is anything like working with him, I'm in good hands!

  Story on Meeting Tyler: My Wife and I were first time home buyers and looking at a house we really loved, one of those "too good to be true" finds. I had a suspicion something more was happening in the basement as we couldn't get the lights on. That's when I called Groundworks and they scheduled Tyler to do an inspection on the homes foundation. Seeing as home buying is one of the most important decisions a person can make in their life, I can't say how happy we were that Tyler showed up! Now that they could figure out how to get the lights on, he spent his time meticulously inspecting the foundation. I assumed it would be a quick "look around", but Tyler spent his time thoroughly inspecting every inch of the foundation he had access too. Using his knowledge and specialty tools at hand he saved us from buying a home that had $50,000+ worth of work and critical structural failure we would have to immediately take care of. We also left with new knowledge of our own as he explained in detail the issues and the science behind understanding mineral deposit signs and how moisture and water moves through foundations. Fast Forward to Now: We bought our first house! With the knowledge in hand we came to realize most homes need foundation work. So we bought a small home with a solid foundation that needs some love and care. Of course we called Tyler to take care of that TLC. He showed up on time and again took his time to meticulously inspect our foundation, laid out a game plan which he explained in detail, and now we are on the schedule for full encapsulation! *Will update the review once the work is done, but I feel it will just be more great words for Tyler and his team!*

  I can’t say enough good things about Richard Flores. He didn’t rush in and tell me what I needed to do about the foundation issues in my house but started by asking what my long-term plans are and what problems I have had since the last foundation contractor “fixed” the slippage and settling ~ about 25 years ago. After describing the history, longevity, and national coverage of Groundworks and the training every team member receives, he spent several hours taking detailed measurements and developing clear CAD drawings that clearly show the patterns underlying the problem. We then discussed alternative solutions, and he developed a plan/ proposal. I was so impressed by Richard’s knowledge, professionalism, and customer focus that I decided to cancel my appointments with another potential contractor. I am confident that Richard will be an excllent project manager and that any issues that may arise will be handled to my satisfaction. So far, I rate Richard a 10 out of 10 in every category.
