  On 05/22/26 at approximately 11:20-11:25am Eastern on Fort St in Niles, MI, I was nearly hit and ran off the road by one of your white vans, license place TK583N0A. They not only rode my but to the stop sign, but as I was crossing the intersection at S 3rd St towards S11th St, still on Fort St, they decided it was wise to use the intersection as a passing section to not only come withing 1 foot of hitting my handle-bars, but also accelerating at a totally unreasonable speed, even if you were safely passing a cycler. They then turned one block later and parked at the Flea Market in the Culver's parking lot, where I proceeded to document and picture the van's details. I follow bike safety and bike law, having been a cycler for almost half a century. Not only does my cycle have full reflectors, a flashing red rear light, a powerful headlight, but I was also wearing a quite visible and large red hoodie and matching back-pack. Cyclers are, by law and safety, treated as any other vehicle on the road. This is unacceptable for your drivers to dismiss this not only for that fact but also the for the sheer fact that he quite literally could have caused my death, then and there. Your attention to this matter is due, as I see there are other reports of your drivers not being adequate.

  A driver of one of your vehicles wasn't paying attention and started getting into my lane without a turn signal and ran me off the road into a snow bank. I almost wrecked my car. Pay more attention!
