  I really was hoping to not have to write a review like this but I have given it ample time to be corrected with no communication. On September 4, 2026, we met with A+Derr for a quote and information on replacing our air conditioner that had gone out a month earlier. On September 4, 2026, we met with Jake. We explained to him that we had tried to hold out until closer to next year but the summer was just not leaving. He suggested not only replacing our air conditioner but our furnace that was several years old and putting three split units upstairs to help with cooling and to replace the window units. We completely agreed with the air conditioner and furnace but was hesitant about the split units. Jake walked with us to the upstairs and started to explain what the units would look like and where they would be placed. I specifically asked about the wires coming out and how they would be covered and if there were a better place to place the units. Jake explained that the units' wires would be covered and they would "not be noticeable." After this, we proceeded outside to visualize what it would look like on our house. Due to having 3 units installed, we knew the wiring and all would have to come out the side of the house. We were again told that these would be covered and it would match our siding. "Barely noticeable" We proceeded to walk to talk about where the unit would be placed that ran the split units. We discussed 2 options: one in front of the windows on the ground or on the roof of our covered back porch which has a 100 year roof on it and is a flat surface. My husband and Jake decided the unit would go onto the roof as he could have brackets to hold it against the house. With all of this, the total was over $24,000. We signed the agreement and schedule for the next Wednesday I stayed home to greet the installers. There were four men who came (2 for the furnace and air conditioner and 2 for the split units). The installers were incredibly professional and extremely nice. I let them do their thing and had to leave around 12:00pm to go to work. When I returned, the furnace and air conditioner was installed and they were finishing the split units. The first thing I noticed was the unit installed in front of my back door windows. That was red flag #1. I proceeded to walk upstairs to see the units and to my surprise the covering for the wires and such looked like a gutter system in 2 of our bedrooms. The installer noticed my face when I first saw this and said" you were not explained what the coverings looked like were you?" I was mortified as I had just painted and redone both of these bedrooms for my kids. I called Jake and left him a message regarding this. When I did not hear from him by that next Monday, I called the front office. They finally reached out and David and Jake scheduled to come back and look that next Monday. When they arrived, I voiced my concerns. David stated they could move the 2 units on a different wall and they would get the until on the roof where we would told it would go. He explained they were booked up that next week but would schedule for the week after. It has been 3 weeks since they came out and told me they would schedule and I have still not received a phone call. I was told last week that David would reach out to me personally and I am still waiting. I am attaching photos to this review to warn anyone else before they call this company. It was a very obvious bate and switch tactic and now we are paying for it. On top of all of this, the wiring and hoses that run from one end of my basement to the air conditioner unit has fallen and just hanging down. I hope you have read this entire situation and will not call to schedule or purchase from A+Derr. I fear I will have to call another company to fix the mistakes they made. I regret ever signing that agreement.

  Lydon, the tech, was generous and patient. We talked on the phone first as A+Derr had moved this appt. up. Our unit is outside so I told him to go ahead and get started and that I would be the shortly. He did that and waited so I could hand him the filters and so he could check the thermostat inside. He was patient with us and courteous. Bonus for him!!
