I've tried a few and different door companies and overhead is by far the best. They are quick to respond and never try to oversell you. They make sure they give you exactly what you want. They also offer to repair when possible and the price is always fair.

Don’t overpay!!! Use someone else or at least get another FREE quote. Overhead Door will ask for $1400 to replace the springs on an older garage door. The same work was performed by reliable local small business for $370. They will try to upsell and charge you $70 just to come out and give you the unreasonable high quote. They don’t care if you’re a senior living on a fixed income or not. It’s your business and you decide how to run it BUT I CHOOSE TO TAKE MY BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Excellent service, but extremely high pricing When the spring on my garage door broke, my car was stuck inside the garage. I called Overhead Door Company of South Bend-Mishawaka, and their response was unbelievable. They had someone at my house literally within about five minutes. Our technician, David, was great to work with. He was professional, helpful, and took care of the problem. From a service and responsiveness standpoint, I honestly couldn’t have asked for anything better. My only issue, and it is a significant one, was the price. The final bill was $1,797. Afterward, I contacted Hostetler Door and specifically asked them to quote the same scope of work that had been performed. Their quote was $445 with a two-day lead time. That is a very substantial difference. So I have mixed feelings. The service, response time, and technician were exemplary and deserve five stars. The pricing, however, was far higher than I expected and is something I think customers should be aware of. The next time I have a garage door issue, I'll call Hostetler Door.
