  Bergstrom has done all the work on our house. New roof, siding, windows, cement driveway and repairs in the basement. Would highly recommend them!

  Our home was severely damaged when a tree fell on it in October 2024. Our insurance company referred a contractor from Indianapolis, but we were very disappointed with the quality of their workmanship. After months of frustration and being displaced from our home for over a year at that time, I stopped by Bergstrom Construction and spoke with Mike about our situation. Mike didn't hesitate to come out and assess the damage. When he saw the condition our home had been left in, he clearly explained what needed to be done and what it would take to make our home safe and livable again. From that moment, I knew Bergstrom Construction was the right team for the job. The damage was extensive. In fact, it would have been easier to rebuild than to correct the issues left behind by the original contractor. We had 11 broken trusses and 4 damaged floor joists from the tree impact, along with many other structural and repair challenges. Mike, Sean, and the entire Bergstrom team worked tirelessly to restore our home. Throughout the project, communication was excellent. They kept us informed every step of the way, explained what work was being done, and always consulted us before making decisions. Their professionalism, integrity, and compassion made a difficult situation much easier to navigate. Because they understood how long we had been out of our home, Mike even began work on our project while managing other commitments to help get us back home as quickly as possible. Thanks to their dedication, we were able to move back into our home in March 2026. What impressed us most was that Bergstrom Construction truly operated as a team. Someone was working on our home every week, and over time they felt more like family than contractors. Today, our home is not only livable again—it is beautiful. I highly recommend Bergstrom Construction to anyone needing home repairs, restoration, or rebuilding. They didn't just repair our house; they rebuilt our home and helped restore our peace of mind. We are incredibly grateful to Mike Bergstrom, Sean, and the entire team. God truly used them to help our family through one of the most difficult seasons of our lives.   Very competent staff did a great job of replacing two old garage doors that were literally falling apart with one large door that is controlled with a remote. Also designed and painted garage to fit beautifully with house. All staff were great to work with, won’t hesitate to call Bergstrom again for other projects. Kokomo is lucky to have them!

  We are currently using Bergstrom Home Improvement for a large addition and remodel project, and we could not be happier with our decision. They are building an addition that includes a suite, two bedrooms, and an office, while also remodeling the master suite in our existing home. Mike, the owner, has been wonderful to work with from the start. He really listened to everything we wanted and was always willing to make adjustments when we changed our minds or wanted to tweak something. When unforeseen circumstances came up, he responded quickly and worked with us every step of the way. Everyone on their crew has been polite, professional, and incredibly helpful. They do excellent work, answer questions patiently, and always clean up at the end of the day. We especially appreciate how kind and patient they have been with our two very curious puppies constantly trying to “supervise” the project. Courtney designed our master bathroom remodel, and she has been amazing. She has fantastic taste, great ideas, and communicates so well throughout the process. She truly listens to your style, wants, and budget. I also appreciated how honest she was when something might clash or not work well, while still respecting our choices and never making us feel pressured or talked down to. This addition and remodel is a major investment, and Bergstrom’s quote was one of the highest we received. That said, we absolutely believe they are worth the price. They go above and beyond, stand behind their work, and provide quality craftsmanship and customer service that is hard to find. We are so glad we chose them and would gladly pay the same price again for the experience and results they have provided.
