- KHKeith Hoffmaster3 days ago5.0Had an issue getting my garage door open, called Overhead and Josh Smith came out the next day and realized recent painting had sealed the door shut. Josh was very professional and knowledgeable about what he does. Also had issues with my keypad not working and he made some adjustments and it’s working fine now. Thank you to Josh and Overhead Door for addressing these issues promptly and professionally. 👍

Kudos to Josh for listening to my concerns, doing what he can (installing heavy duty springs) and not doing what is not necessary (replace cables). Appreciate the honest conversation about what can go next given the system’s age, and what to expect from the next gen system. The expert opinion is priceless to this layman, it was a privilege to work with the “factory” guy.

Chad C. was our service tech and he was very diligent in checking both of the garage doors for proper operation and made any necessary adjustments. I inquired about changing out the stop mold around the perimeter of the garage doors and it was a special order that took about 3 weeks. Chad returned today to installed them. He did an excellent job. He noticed that the balance due on the work order for this visit seemed high so he contacted a manager and Chad took off the labor portion since he said I had already paid for the labor on his first visit. I appreciated his honesty and work ethic (he’s very fast also) and highly recommend him and Overhead Door for hiring him!
- CSCourtney SummersSep 18, 20265.0My Legacy Overhead Door was installed back in 2005 and is still working like a champ! Unfortunately, one of the rusty cables finally broke prompting a call to Overhead Door Co. of Indianapolis. Technician David S. was able to come out the same day and replace not only the one broken cable but replaced the other cable since it was also rusted and frayed. My garage door sounds brand new again! David was professional, knowledgeable and I felt the pricing was reasonable. At some point I’m going to need a system replacement, as mine is over 20+ years old. When I do, I will be calling David S with MYOHD company. I recommend them for all your garage door needs.
- JSJim SelvioSep 14, 20265.0If every service company representative was like Josh Smith, it would make calling a service company more joyful. Our garage door had a couple of problems and Josh was able to diagnose and communicate them clearly. He was able to fix the main problem during the first trip but needed to set up another time to install weatherstripping that had been compromised by critters. He set the time and date and made that commitment without issue. He also was able to communicate options that made sense and allow me to make the decision best for us. I genuinely appreciated this entire service call and Josh‘s personality.
