  What can I say… if you live in the central Indy area, CMH Builders should be your #1 option for basement finishing. Let me walk you through my experience. As soon as my wife and I decided that we were going to get our basement finished, we knew that we needed to partner with a company that would educate us, that would lead us, and that would bring us through the process step by step in a digestible way. We knew that we wanted the work to get completed, but we didn’t necessarily have the detailed vision for what our space would be like. I posted on yelp that I was looking to finish my basement and instantly got bombarded with text messages and emails from general contractors across the area. I researched for 20 minutes online with a quick Google search and found CMH. Ironically, CMH was the only company that I initiated outreach to first. We hosted four different general contractors and CMH. What stood out to me about CMH was their sales rep. Brandon came out and surveyed our entire basement and walked us through all of the options that we had available. He walked us through different things we could do with our floor plan and gave us the utmost confidence that CMH would be able to handle our basement finishing project with simplicity, organization, and to a standard that we would enjoy. CMH brought us into their showroom and they used software to help us envision the space. They then helped us through a process of choosing finishes all the way from flooring to how we would design our bathroom. Throughout the duration of the project, one of the things that stood out to me specifically was how respectful and clean the people they employ and subcontract out to are. Another standout employee from CMH was Kaden, our project manager. Kaden communicated excellently, coordinated jobs across the entire eight week process effectively, and even got to know our two year old son well. Our finished Basement is wonderful. It’s better than we ever thought it was going to be. The project was finished ahead of time. We never had any concerns over safety or the quality of work being completed. I seriously cannot recommend CMH enough if you’ve stumbled upon this review and you are weighing your options do yourself a favor save some time, energy and stress and call CMH for a quote. Work with Brandon, Kaden and the CMH team and you’ll be blown away just like I was.

  When we were in the process of getting quotes from a number of different contractors and companies we chose to go with CMH, not because they were the cheapest (actually wasn't) but because they were the most professional about their approach from the very beginning and it carried all the way to the very end. Every employee at CMH was helpful at overstep from estimating, designing, walking through pre construction, construction and final product. Even after the work was done we had another contractor at our house for a completely unrelated project and he was even impressed by the work that CMH did. I would recommend this company in a heartbeat to anyone that is looking to hire them for anything.

  We'd like to thank CMH for a fantastic experience with our basement finish. Workers were on time as scheduled and project timeline was spot on. Workmanship was great and the transformation was beyond expectations. We very highly recommend CMH for your basement finish.

  I can not express how happy I was with CMH through the whole process of finishing our basement. Just getting quotes from basement finishers felt like the wild wild west. CMH quickly separated themselves from the rest with their thorough attention to detail all the way from the quoting/proposal to the finish. Our home was new within the last couple years and I felt like the quality and attention to detail through the whole process at times exceeded our experience of home building - from keeping the workspace clean to the finishing touches. 100% would recommend CMH.

  CMH finished our basement about 3 years ago and did an amazing job. Very smooth process from beginning to end. No surprises along the way. What they quote you is the actual price you will pay unless you make changes along the way. All the subcontractors were very professional and cleaned up the site each day. We ended up with a beautiful basement. Highly recommend them!
