The salesman was a liar who told me I had black mold and my current tub was close to falling through the floor. He stated the installer would do a total tear out and repair everything. With concern for my home and my health, I agreed with the pricey quote. Our installer did a great job but come to find out there was 0 mold. He also told me they never do mold remediation or total tear outs. I did get 10% refunded by the head of the installers but i just feel so upset due to the lying and being stuck with this huge cost for "mold remediation" that was never an issue. The salesman needs to do better and not lie to people.

This company was door to door canvassing my neighborhood and setting appointments for a free quote. A very professional young woman whose name I cannot quite recall, possibly Manisha, came to my door and informed me about all of the services they could provide. She was knowledgeable and convincing, and because I had just moved about a year ago. I had plans for several projects around my house. After just a couple minutes of talking. I set an appointment with her and she was required to call a Madison, Wisconsin based call center to confirm the appointment; this is where everything fell apart. The woman on the phone from the call center confirmed the time with me, and then began asking me a series of invasive, unprofessional, probing and uncomfortable questions about my finances, my marital status, if my divorce was finalized, who else could possibly be paying for my house other than me. These are just some of the questions that I didn’t think were necessary for a free quote. After I explained that I was divorced for several YEARS and that this was my home they refused to believe that I could be the homeowner for some reason and it originally caused me to end the phone call. The sales woman at my door was able to apologize and convince me that I should give them another chance to set this appointment. She again called the call center to confirm the time and we spoke to a different woman who apologized and set the appointment after a very long phone call, more of the same questions and me repeating myself several times. This woman said that she would escalate the issue from the last phone call so that this kind of thing would not happen anymore. I thanked the young woman for all she did to help out that terrible company and let her know that I had several relatives living in the same neighborhood who would absolutely also set an appointment for their home. I believed that was the end of a very long hour and a half interaction after which I was very frustrated, and about two minutes after she left my door the call center called my phone to let me know that they looked into it and thought about it and that for some reason after I had explained myself over and over that this is my home and I am the decision-maker- the sole decision-maker, they had decided that again they did not believe that I owned my home. They were thinking about canceling my appointment because of this if I couldn't come up with other people to babysit me during the appointment. I told them that I was going to solve it for them and just cancel the appointment altogether. I explained that questioning my ability to own a home after I explained that I’m a homeowner over and over is invasive and makes people uncomfortable and that it’s also pretty misogynistic. I let my relatives know not to set an appointment with this company no matter what and I plan to let the other houses in my neighborhood know what a frustrating experience this was so that they know not to involve themselves with this out of state company. The call center script and line of questioning in order to establish a free quote with with potential customers is a really bad business practice and this company does not deserve to be working with anybody in my community. They only care about if you are wasting their time and not the other way around and they have no interest in caring about the customer or anything that they’re saying and they obviously don’t listen to communication. I assume that their projects are going to be very frustrating too if this is how they listen to their customers let alone potential customer. I wish I could be compensated for the hour and a half that cost me out of my day and this company had better give that poor canvasser the incentives and earnings she deserves for setting that appointment. She made the appointment and the Madison based call center reps were absolutely the ones who lost any potential business. You guys need to do SO much better.
