We’ve been customers of Home Comfort for many years, and in the beginning, the experience was genuinely excellent. Service was reliable, appointments were handled professionally, and we felt confident recommending them to others.
Unfortunately, over the past several years, the quality and consistency have declined significantly. We’ve dealt with plumbing repairs that had to be redone, recurring HVAC/furnace issues caused by sloppy workmanship, and ongoing scheduling frustrations. To Home Comfort’s credit, whenever something went wrong, they usually sent someone back out to fix it and were apologetic about the situation. Honestly, that willingness to make things right is the main reason we stayed with them as long as we did.
What really pushed us to reconsider, though, was recommending Home Comfort to a friend recently for a simple seasonal AC tune-up. During their very first visit, the technician apparently made a mistake that required a second appointment to correct. It was embarrassing to recommend a company and have someone immediately experience the same issues we’ve been dealing with ourselves.
The final straw for me has been the shift to AI-based answering services and online scheduling. I work in tech and am generally very supportive of automation when it improves efficiency and customer experience. In this case, it has done the opposite. Scheduling and communication now feel far more frustrating and impersonal than they used to. I genuinely miss being able to call and speak with the knowledgeable person who previously coordinated appointments and actually helpful.
At this point, I also can’t help but wonder if the company is struggling with high technician turnover. Nearly every service visit includes new people “in training,” and the quality standards simply do not feel anywhere near what they were years ago.
After years of repeated issues, declining service quality, and now frustrating customer support systems, I can no longer confidently recommend Home Comfort the way I once did and I hope anyone reading this reconsiders and picks a smaller company that isn’t dealing with as much overhead.

0 stars. Worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life. I booked an appointment online, never received a confirmation email or time frame in which a technician would be on site. I attempted calling to cancel the appointment 4 times and never got to a real person.
They attempt to sell "Sara" their digital AI assistant as a real person until you make a request it can't handle (with background noise, keyboard typing sounds, and everything to make you think it's a real person).
And then when you are sent to speak with a representative, you sit on hold and get told "Press 1 to hold your place in line and we'll call back". Which implies that if you stay on the line eventually you'll talk to a person, right? Wrong. It will eventually just say "sorry we missed your call, and sends you to voicemail.
I cannot express enough how horrible their customer service is. Steer clear of this company.
Edit/Response: I attempted calling the direct number provided. Got the same AI assistant, got moved to the same hold queue, and got told to leave a message again. I see I missed a call from a different number as I was pacing around waiting for someone to pick up my call to the 4600 number.

I applaud Home Comfort Experts for sending Alyssa Hurley to my house today! I don't see a female come out on jobs like this very often. It was refreshing and it was definitely encouraging for me. I was once in an unconventional occupation myself so I can relate to a woman doing work that she's doing. Alyssa arrived just when she said she would. She was friendly she was confident she was extremely personable. She spoke well and knew what she was talking about. I feel that it's unfortunate that she couldn't get my drain unclogged. But it's an old house and seems to want to bleed me dry. Lol. At any rate, I would be very happy to have her come and work on my house again.

Alyssa was efficient, knowledgeable, and diligent in her work. She respected my home in taking care in her work and covering her shoes when entering. She explained everything well and answered all my questions in a kind, helpful, and respectful manner. She is definitely a keeper!
