  Outstanding Electrician & Truly Caring Company As a woman working in a blue-collar field myself, I can really appreciate the business that Kathy Boyd has built with Boyd Electric. After being ripped off by another company when my weatherhead had to be replaced during the ice storm in 2025, I was honestly nervous about having another company come out when my weatherhead was damaged again during Monday morning’s storm. Boyd Electric called me back fairly quickly and managed to have someone at my house within 45 minutes of getting off the phone. Jonathan was absolutely awesome! He answered all of my questions, was polite, professional, and took the time to explain everything to me. Jonathan also discovered that my existing weatherhead was not up to code. It had a metal weatherhead when it should have had PVC. He corrected the issue and made sure everything was brought up to code. I really appreciated that he didn't just fix the immediate problem—he took the time to make sure the installation was safe and compliant. The biggest thing I took away from this experience was that Boyd Electric genuinely cares about their customers. I never felt like I was just another dollar amount or another job on the schedule. That means a lot, especially after having a bad experience with another company. I will absolutely be using Boyd Electric from here on out and will gladly recommend them to anyone who needs electrical work. Thank you, Kathy and Jonathan, for showing me what a great local business should look like!

  The Owner/operator was driving the van like a raging driver, blowing his horn, flailing his hands and giving me the finger for getting back in line to continue driving, there was an emergency vehicle and I try to follow rules. This man needs mental help before he hurts someone.

  On 66 West the person in this van did not want to yield to a fire truck and was flipping others off for pulling to side of 66 west. Could have killed people.

  I had my first experience with Boyd Electric today. From my initial phone call with Michelle to Tim's completion of my job, I was very impressed with this company. Tim took great care with his work to ensure a great result. Would hire them again without hesitation.

  I am more than impressed with their work and professionalism. I had a dangerous issue and they came out same day and began work. They scheduled the inspector and Centerpoint Energy and everything just fell into place. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
