  A contractor warned us not to purchase our cabinets from Monarch because of ongoing issues with blotchy stains. Unfortunately, we wish we had listened. After visiting nearly every cabinet store in Springfield, we ultimately chose Monarch because they had the stain color we wanted—even though they were the most expensive option. After waiting seven weeks, our cabinets finally arrived, and they looked nothing like the original sample we selected. The stain was inconsistent from board to board, visibly blotchy, and an entirely different color than what we were promised. The most frustrating part was that our entire kitchen remodel was delayed while waiting on these cabinets. When we raised concerns, the owner refused to return our calls. Instead, he sent an email explaining why the stain turned out blotchy and mismatched, but never addressed how cabinets in that condition were allowed to leave the factory in the first place. Monarch had to take the cabinets back, sand them down, and completely refinish them—causing even more costly delays to our remodel. To make matters worse, they initially offered installation assistance because of the delays and issues, only to later backtrack and claim they do not provide that service. Overall: •   Poor quality control •   Significant project delays •   Lack of communication •   No accountability •   No meaningful apology •   No compensation or discount despite major inconvenience For a premium price, we expected premium service and craftsmanship. Instead, this experience created unnecessary stress, delays, and disappointment. Update: because the replacement cabinets arrived today, and to Monarch’s credit, they look great the second time around. Aside from a few minor dents, the finish, color, and overall quality are much closer to what we originally expected. This process was still far more frustrating than it should have been—poor quality control on the initial delivery, major delays, and unnecessary stress for a premium-priced product. But since the cabinets were corrected and delivered in much better condition on the second attempt, I’m adjusting my review from a 1 to a 2.5. There is still room for significant improvement in communication, inspection, and customer service, but the final product is a big step up from where this started.

  Run! As fast as you can from anything to do with Monarch Cabinets. The owner, Aaron Jesse, has never done anything wrong in his life! He won’t stand responsible for ANYTHING. The company will not stand behind their low quality vinyl MDF cabinets. This is first hand experience. There are myriad cabinet companies - cross Momarch off your list!

  Cabinets are great looking, and high quality. BUT our contractors are returning 4th batch of cabinet doors and drawer faces to replace. Packaging and delivery are crap. I suspect quality control too. When I pay $32,000 for cabinets I expect not a single scratch before/after packaging and delivery. Why is it SOOO hard to do your QC and make sure all the doors don't have dents and scratches and pack them well? I will keep returning until you MAKE IT RIGHT!

  We built a new home and used monarch cabinets..Stacey was so great and was very knowledgeable and helped us design a great kitchen .. a very pleasant experience ..would use them again in a second :)

  Stacey Clarke is the best designer around! She's has completely remodeled our kitchen and two full baths. They are absolutely perfect! Highly recommend using her for all your new build or remodel needs!
