Bailey and his team were outstanding professionals. They gave me options, were honest about what was needed, and took care of the problem. While you can look for bargains if you want to, choose these guys if you want the job done professionally. I am 100% satisfied with the work quality, professionalism, and knowledge. They are an easy choice when the next problem shows up.

DONT USE IT!!!!! My Neigbor used their service and they promised to use epoxy liner, with that they promised it was only going to be a couple dollars more then the price with pop pipe,.my neighbor is 84 years of age with a cancer surviving wife. The initial estimate was 7000. They charged him 14000 for the epoxy when they told him it was only going to cost a LITTLE more then the initial estimate.long story short, the damage was outside his property. More specifically outside of city property by the sidewalk. Bad service and would not recommend. YOU GUYS ARE GARBAGE!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! We were quoted over $15,000 to replace our sewer line due to holes, tree roots, and rusted cast iron pipes. They showed us a sketchy video that we weren’t even sure was our own home, were super pushy on making sure we fixed it as soon as possible, and the salesman just sat in his car waiting to pry on us once we were told about these issues. We then got a second quote and were told from them that there are absolutely NO issues other than it just being an older pipe and the problems that Roto Rooter told us, were complete lies. We still paid $1300 to get all of the pipes cleared from Roto Rooter before they told us the fake issues in the sewer and the second company with their own camera told us that Roto Rooter didn’t even clean the pipes. We are BEYOND furious and cannot believe we were almost scammed $15,000 dollars. Reporting this company immediately!!!!!!!

A small space on my family carpet was wet, I wasn’t sure where it was coming from. After finding water in the basement right below the bathroom, I called Roto Rooter, Rockford. I have used them for small things in the past. A technician comes out, tells me it’s my toilet, there’s a leak under the tile between the floor. He said it would cost a lot to fix the toilet and cheaper just to buy a new toilet. I figured toilets are pretty cheap so I agreed. I explained that I was going through a lot of health issues, very sick that day and wasn’t working because of my health. He said he was going to go buy one and come back. In the meantime he had his water restoration boss call me, I spoke to Joe Nickel, he tells me that all this water has spread through the rooms and I would get all this dangerous mold and wanted to send one of their technicians to test the areas, before I agreed I made it VERY CLEAR I couldn’t pay my 1000 dollars deductible, he said THEY would cover it, I would pay nothing. I went over this several times with him, I told him I wasn’t working and didn’t have the money. Now the tech comes with the new toilet takes maybe 10mins if that to attach it, gives me the bill, over 900 dollars, for a 200 dollar toilet, I wanted to cry. Now the flood tech comes, starts doing all this testing, won’t answer any of my questions, tells me Joe Nickel will talk to me. They tell me I need to start a claim with my insurance that day so they can set up fans to stop the spreading of the water. They leave me with all these fans. After a few days the demolition team comes, starts tearing apart my bathroom, my kitchen floor my kitchen cabinets, my family room carpet. I made several calls to Joe Nickel, he never called back, he was suppose to stop at my house, never did. I called to talk to the owner, they told me the owner doesn’t talk to customers. I could talk to Tom, left message never called me back. Joe Nickel is a liar, and a scammer, takes advantage of people in a desperate state. Left me with my house torn apart, never explained anything to me or told me what they were going to do. Never heard from Joe until he wanted his check. I get the bill almost 9,000 dollars, no detail, you have no idea what your being billed for, I asked for a detail bill, received nothing. I find out later that they never paid my deductible. I was horrified. I had to pay that before I could get anything replaced or fixed. I had no bathroom sink or toilet no kitchen sink, no water down stairs. My whole downstairs torn apart. Also having a senior dog that can’t go up the stairs or be carried at 100 lbs. All of this really played on his and my health, it-was miserable and painful. The more they tore away my house, water damage or not, the more money they made. They didn’t care about me or customers. There was no water in most areas they tore away. It was unbelievable. This company is horrible. Joe Nickel shame on you!

Over a week later and my house still smells from the mess they made. Update 8-4-2026. Still no call even after a response to this review. I'll keep updating this so it stays at the top. 8-1-2026. Called Roto Rooter to clear a drain. Showed up, assessed the situation and said it would be no problem. Also, told me it would be $950. After over an hour and them destroying my lower level the technician couldn't figure out the problem. He tried to call his supervisor several times but didn't get a response. He packed up his stuff to leave with no answers. I asked him to have someone call me. No calls. Had to spend several hours cleaning up the mess from them. Tech told me "Roto Roter should pay me for the mess he made." I asked "if I should call someone else, he told I could do that."I called Pearson. Came out next morning and was able to fix the problem. Pearson didn't make any mess at all plus they only charged me $480. About half of what Roto Rooter was going to charge.
