  5/5 Stars – Outstanding Whole-Home HVAC & Air Quality Installation in Batavia, IL If you are looking for top-tier HVAC and indoor air quality services in the Fox Valley area, TR Miller Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical is as good as it gets. We recently hired them to replace our furnace and install a complete indoor air quality system—including a whole-home humidifier, dehumidifier, and high-efficiency air cleaner. From the initial inspection all the way to final cleanup, the professionalism, thoroughness, and expertise across the entire team were second to none. Inspection & Evaluation: Bogdan conducted our initial inspection. He was exceptionally thorough, taking the time to evaluate our home’s layout, existing ductwork, and airflow needs. Rather than offering a quick, generic assessment, he explained exactly how balancing humidity and filtration would improve our home comfort throughout the changing Midwest seasons. Quote & Contracting: Dan walked us through the proposal and contracting process. He provided clear, transparent pricing options with no hidden fees or high-pressure tactics. Dan’s technical knowledge made it easy to choose the right system configuration for our Batavia home, and he ensured all scheduling and paperwork were completely seamless. Installation Day: Eduardo and Jorge handled the installation, and their craftsmanship was outstanding. Integrating four major components (furnace, humidifier, dehumidifier, and air cleaner) is no small task, but their ductwork, electrical connections, and piping were clean, precise, and organized. They arrived on time, protected our floors, kept the work area spotless, and walked us through system operation, filter changes, and maintenance before leaving. The difference in our home’s airflow, air cleanliness, and overall comfort was immediate.   We had a new HVAC system installed by TR Miller. Furnace, Air Conditioner, Humidifier and Electronic Air Scrubber. Ken was our sales person and original point of contact. Very knowledgeable and very good follow up Always willing to answer my questions. He even showed up on the day of the install to make sure all was going as planned. Elmer and Christian were our installers and they were excellent. Put down tarps in the house and basement so as not to soil the floor, answered our questions throughout the day and did a very clean and neat install of the new system. At the end of the day they summarized what they did and showed us how to operate the furnace and air conditioner. They finished in one day. A good experience with TR Miller.

  I called them based on their Reviews and they took advantage of my 82 Year Old Mom. I am in Arizona and needed to get my mom some help in Illinois. I was quoted 79.99 for an estimate they were not supposed to do any work without calling me first! I never got a call. My mom had a shower head not working and they replaced a $31 dollar part and charged her $433, only to tell her that it still doesn't work and they wanted another $1287 to fix it. In addition she needed a toilet and the quoted her $1230 for a American Standard Colony Round Bowl, this doesn't include the tank or flushing handle (see quote). This round bowl cost $150. I am so disappointed! I need help taking care of my mom and the other house she owns and I can't do it from Arizona and she will not move here. Shame on TR MILLER. I was able to get my mom a brand new toilet installed for $653 and it was better than the one they quoted!

  I called on Monday to ask for someone to come and give me an estimate for a new furnace and air conditioner. Da'Veta came that afternoon. She was very informative and answered all my questions. She spent a long time assessing the equipment I wanted replaced. She took pictures and measurements and then explained what all the information with me. She was honest and not pushy. She gave me a price and guaranteed that there would be no added cost. She set up installation for Wednesday and gave me a number to contact her if I had any further questions. Jorge and Javier were here on Wednesday at the time they said they would be here. They were very pleasant and knowledgeable. Jorge explained everything clearly. They went to work and I had my new furnace and air conditioner within approximately 6 hours. Everything was cleaned up and installation went smoothly. They did a great job teaching me how to use the new thermostat and showing me the new system. I couldn't have had a better experience thanks to De'Veta, Jorge and Javier.

  8/13/2026 EDIT: The response from TR was expected. A company that would charge more than twice the cost is brazen. Consumers please be aware. I have had good results with Michaels Plumbing in Aurora. Their pricing is aligned with the industry standard. Get 3 quotes. TR rep, your company put its best foot forward in my home. You could not possibly say anything to me that would make sense. Caio! 8/6/2026 I wasn't sure if I wanted to leave a review, but I think it's a good idea that I do. Seeking Kinetico products I scheduled an estimate for 10am. I called at 10:12am to see if the tech was on the way and I was told yes. Then I got busy cleaning. Waiting to hear a doorbell ring, but realizing it hadn't, I went to my phone and found a text saying that my appointment had been canceled because I didn't respond to the text they sent asking me to confirm the day's appointment. This text was sent AFTER I called at 10:12am. The text went on to say that maybe there'd be time in the afternoon or some other day. I called the company and I said, yo, please. I'm here today at this house.Can you get somebody over here. They did, but they royally messed up the rest of my day. Domino effect on my calendar. It cost me $. The company also quoted me over $750 to remove a single bowl laundry room sink. (See picture attached) Today I had a plumber on site and this is what I spent: LAUNDRY ROOM Sink disconnected New shut off valves SPIGGOT WATER LINES 2 shut off valves installed in the basemen to shut off the 2 spiggots and spent... $362.28 I now have serious concerns about inflated costs on my estimates for the water softener and RO system. I also realize I have to babysit my phone while I'm engaged in deep cleaning floors so I don't miss a confirming text otherwise my appointment will be canceled. The single star I chose shines very brightly for the tech that eventually showed up. He was professional and a great communicator. I won't be contacting this company for business especially not since i've read more of the reviews.
