  We’ve had a great experience with Area Wide Waterproofing so far. Kelly came out to our home in the Tinley Park/South Suburbs area very quickly and took the time to thoroughly evaluate everything and explain what she was seeing. What really impressed us was the level of detail in the proposal. The estimate was very thorough, easy to understand, and clearly outlined the recommended work and what would be involved. Kelly was knowledgeable, professional, and never made us feel rushed while going through our questions. The office was also very responsive, and they were able to get us on the schedule promptly, which we really appreciated. Although the actual work has not been completed yet, based on the communication, responsiveness, and attention to detail we’ve experienced so far, we’ve been very impressed with Kelly and the Area Wide Waterproofing team.

  We had Area Wide Waterproofing address our problematic foundation, discovered soon after moving in (the finished basement was nicely polished before we moved in 🙃). Larry came out promptly and explained options for fixing the bowing/cracking walls discovered behind some of the drywall. He came out again with the foreman Craig to look at specific metrics on the property and make sure the planned repair would fit our situation. We had wall anchors installed to halt the leaning/bowing. This was a BIG project. All the drywall needed to be removed along 2 walls of the basement, and Craig and his team made it happen without issue. They handled demo, and kept in communication with what they found. The process was collaborative and had open-information which I really appreciated. Craig answered and continues to answer any questions I have as we continue stabilizing these anchors and addressing other waterproofing issues to protect the home (downspout re-rerouting, crack waterproofing, etc.) The team and Craig were super flexible with decisions we made/requested during repairs (including disposing of all drywall and damaged insulation in the basement). The team was very tidy and cleaned up really well, the amount of dust and waste generated from taking down 62 feet x 8 feet of drywall is insane, and they handled it like true pros. Craig is responsive, knowledgeable, and flexible with unique property constraints. We’re still in this process of monitoring, tightening, and waterproofing, and I’m glad Craig is the one running point on this work. AWW is also fairly priced, which is a bonus of course. We spoke to 4 other waterproofing companies before settling on Area Wide for all the reasons above (communication, price, transparency, collaborative problem solving). Thank you so much to the team! (Wall pictures include the anchors, visible newly discovered cracks yet to be sealed, along side 20-year old cracks previously waterproofed— the thicker grey covered ones. Also one of the trenches outside during installation and after. The stones were held to the side and relayed on top of the area, which was a great touch.)
