Initial sales with Ryan who was communicative and supportive throughout the process.
Then our project manager, Diego, who did an outstanding job coordinating the various projects. He kept us up to date and answered all the questions we had.
We had a great experience end-to-end.

We recently had our cedar-shake roof replaced by Shake Guys with Brava composite shakes, along with new flashing, skylight work, ridge ventilation, and related roof details.
This was a large and complex project with multiple rooflines, dormers, valleys, and a front turret. The Shake Guys team did an excellent job with the installation, and the finished roof has transformed the appearance of our home. The Brava Weathered shakes look very natural and fit the architecture beautifully.
What we appreciated most was their responsiveness throughout the project. We had several questions about flashing details, gutter coordination, snow guards, and finishing work, and the team took the time to listen, explain the options, and address our concerns professionally. They were careful about details and willing to make adjustments when needed.
A special thank-you to our project manager, Josh F. He was responsive, patient, and easy to work with throughout the project. He took our questions seriously, helped coordinate the many details, and made sure concerns were addressed rather than brushed aside. Having a knowledgeable point person for a project of this size made a real difference.
Based on our experience, we would recommend Shake Guys to homeowners considering a premium roof replacement.

We worked with the Shake Guys on on very large residential weather damaged wood cedar shake roof in South Barrington which was replaced with new DaVinci Select Shake composite material. The roof had many ridges/valleys with copper flashing throughout. Their support from beginning to end was very commendable and was supported by their team of Josh L, Josh F, Todd, and 8-10 other very hard working installers who worked from dawn to dust for about 2 weeks. If you're looking a higher end roof system, someone that can navigate the insurance claim process, and handle a large complex roofing project, I would highly recommend using them. Bill

ShakeGuys recently replaced our aging cedar shingle roof with a Davinci composite roof and it looks beautiful!! Kenny, our project manager, was great to work with as he addressed every question and concern we had. The job moved along swiftly as the crew was very experienced. Cleanup was daily with the final cleanup, being a double sweep thanks Kenny and Shake Guys. Highly recommended! We are receiving lots of compliments from the neighbors.

Replacing a roof is a major investment, and like most homeowners, I wanted to be sure I was choosing the right company. Thanks to Max, who introduced me to Shake Guys and their reputation for quality and integrity, I felt confident moving forward and I am very glad I did.
From start to finish, the experience exceeded my expectations. Mario, the project manager for my Bravo composite roof replacement, was outstanding. He took the time to explain the process, kept me informed every step of the way, and was always available to answer questions. The entire team was organized, professional, respectful of my property, and clearly committed to doing the job the right way.
What stood out most was the genuine care they showed throughout the project. Even after the work was completed, Mario continued to follow up to make sure everything met my expectations and that I was completely satisfied.
