I had Childers replace my front door a few years ago. Since I was thrilled with the quality of the door and the installation this time I had them replace my single and double garage doors and openers. After calling them on the phone, Jarrod came out two days later to take measurements and discuss what type of doors we would like. We knew we wanted our garage doors to match our newer front door. In retrospect, I wish a little more time discussing what features I would like for the openers would have been nice. I found out later, for a little bit more money, I could have had openers with battery backups installed. However, this is a minor imperfection in my opinion. The next day we had an estimate emailed to us and after we were able to put down around 50%, the doors and openers were ordered. It took about 6 weeks for the doors to come in, but once they were in we were able to get on the schedule in less than 1 week. The installation took most of the work day but went smoothly. A couple of the installers were really helpful explaining how to install and pair the openers to my phone. They also demonstrated how to perform routine maintenance. When all of the work was completed, the area in front of and inside the garage was cleaned up. Thanks again Childers!

Childers Door Service came out and fixed our overhead commercial door. The two gentlemen were very friendly. They knew exactly what they were doing. Their work ethic was professional. I would recommend Childers Door Service for their professional-level service and their affordable pricing

If you live in their service area, this is the place to contact. During those massive late-summer storms, our house lost power. We could open the garage door manually, but it refused to stay open on its own and kept sliding right back down—a classic sign of an unbalanced door. I called Childers (having had great experiences with them before) to get someone out. When Kevin arrived, it was clear he was having one of those brutal days where nothing had gone right for him or his crew. Yet despite the tough day, he fixed the door efficiently, laughed and smiled the entire time, and was genuinely happy to take on a stress-free project. Trust Childers to take care of your project. And if you get Kevin, be prepared for top-tier service from someone who fixes your issue with a real smile on their face!
