  My experience with Edelman: in the spring I paid to have the a/c & furnace clean and check. Spring a/c clean & check no issues. (Keep in mind before this fall appointment we’ve had the furnace on for 2 days in September to take the chill out of the house and it works fine.). October I made our appointment for the furnace clean & check. On Tuesday the young man shows up for our appointment and was here for over 2 hours….when he leaves our furnace is not working. He says there will be no charge for today but he will be back with parts another day. I call to remind them this was a clean and check I already paid for and should not owe anything. They will call me back on Wednesday…no call all day so at end of day I call them. On Thursday I hear from the young man that he will be at our home Friday to fix the furnace and will update us with an ETA. He never shows up on Friday. Saturday I call and get an answering machine that says they will come out for I believe around $130. I say I shouldn’t pay anything…my furnace was working before they showed up….no one comes over the weekend. On Sunday they text me and ask if I want an appointment…..my response no thank you!! I should have set up an appointment and let them drive to Freeport and then didn’t answer the door…but I’m more considerate than that.

  Ricky did a good job on the regular maintenance of my furnace today, 9/29/26. There was a malfunctioning part (capacitor) which needed to be changed. He explained it in detail and answered all of my questions thoroughly. It cost $200 to install a part that sells for $20 retail. I wish there would have been more wiggle room on the price because I already pay a membership fee for biannual maintenance. He was here for that maintenance so maybe there didn't need to be quite as high of a mark up on the part. Feels like a bit of a gouge. I selected "reasonably priced " because I don't know if someone else would have done it cheaper. Anyway, Ricky did his job, no complaints about him. Overall, I will likely continue to use Edelman for my hvac needs.

  This company rocked. They got our work done and explained everything they did!! They were so quiet I was able to take a nap!! Lol!!! I would definitely recommend.

  Overall very high quality and professional service from Steve and Nick. Came on time, got right to work, replaced my AC in a timely manner, cleaned up, and answered all of my questions. Highly recommend these guys!

  They replaced my A/C compressor under warranty. Compressor free but $1,750 for labor plus diagnostic fee. It took a couple hours. If I figure in some administration time plus time to replace the compressor works out to around $400 / hour. I'm not sure my doctor even makes that much. I feel like feel like they totally took advantage of me as it was 95° out with similar humidity and I needed my A/C Fixed.
