  I used to think highly of this place, but my last experience was a disaster! Bad, slow service. Took more money for an inferior glass and refused to refund. On top of that, it took them over a month to get it right.

  The customer service experience here was TERRIBLE. I ordered a piece of glass that I needed for a coffee table. The order taker said it would take 2 weeks. I waited 3 weeks and called the store. The order taker sounded like a deer in the headlights and had no idea if the order had been placed. He said he would look for it and call me back. He never did. A few days later I called again and he still had no idea where the order was or if it had been placed. Again, he said he would look for it and call me back. He never did. It's now going on 4 weeks, so I went into the store to check on the status. One of the owners was there (Luis). He promised to have the order done "soon". We'll see! I don't have any confidence in this shop and I will probably have to seek a refund. A request for payment in FULL was needed at the time the ordered was placed. They got their money, but I feel that fulfilling the order is no longer their priority or concern. Frustrated... I've spent way too much time and energy on this. If you are seeking a business that is efficient, organized and can fulfill orders as promised, this shop is not for you. Find another store.

  I ordered custom sized tempered glass shelves for my china cabinet and they fit perfectly and everyone was very helpful! It took a few weeks for the order to come in but I was expecting that, what a great business to have around!

  They not only did stunning repair work on my Art Nouveau mirror, but also carried it out and helped load it into the car. The service was above and beyond.

  I am so happy I stumbled upon this local glass and mirror shop in Evanston. Initially I came in for a new mirror and now they are working on my new shower door. It's so nice to be able to work with friendly and trustworthy sales people. I highly recommend Evanston Glass & Mirror!
