RAB Electric was started in 2007 by Ross Blunier, who worked out of his dad's shop in rural Eureka, IL. In 2016, Ross built a shop of his own where he could have more space and product inventory. The business started out small and now has grown to include: 9 full-time employees and 2 part-time employees. RAB Electric strives to provide products and services that surpass the exceptions of those receiving them. We endeavor to build and maintain trust through the integrity of our products and services. Many general contractors of central Illinois have found us to be a great fit for their projects as well.

- JJJeff Johnson5 days ago5.0Can’t say enough about how positive this experience was. Nate came and made recommendations and gave us an estimate. Will from RAB installed our new Generac standby generator. Will showed up on time, very clean and organized, did a great job, and before he left even cleaned the greasy handprints left by the propane crew. Very happy and would definitely recommend RAB! The other contractor I called was very pushy, didn’t want to leave without me signing an agreement. It felt more like a used car dealer but I didn’t get that vibe from RAB at all. Thanks!

Nate came out gave us a free quote for a whole house Generac generator. We emailed back and forth but we just couldn't pull the trigger on the install. Not a problem. He was very courteous and gave us some time to think it over. Once again a year later we ran into the RAB booth at the home show. We chatted with them and decided to get another quote. Great pricing! We decided to go for it. Will and Isaac were very punctual on install day. They were very courteous and professional. Took care of the electric meter and gas. They were neat and clean and left there work areas neat and tidy. After they finished the installation they walked me through there work process and made sure I understood how the system works before they left. I would definitely call them back and recommend them to anyone looking for a generator or other electrical issues. Thanks Nate, and the crew at RAB electric for a pleasant and professional experience.
