- PPPurpleBeaches867Jun 8, 20262.0Scheduled a maintenance check on my sump pump. Saw a discount for that on their website for $198. Tech came out and he literally was done in 10 minutes. He even left his tool box upstairs and didn’t take it with him down in the crawl space. I questioned how quick it was, and with no tools, and he said its more involved if there’s battery back up, which I don’t have. Later looking at their website, I saw that the ‘deal’ only referenced it as a maintenance check with a battery. So I paid $198 with an additional $6 fee for using a credit card for literally 10 minutes for a quick look at my sump pump. That’s fine if it only takes 10 minutes, but to still charge the $198 when mine doesn't have a battery doesn't seem right. I had planned on having them come do some additional work, but now doubtful.

We were quoted $79 for a diagnostic inspection, but when the plumber arrived, we were told it would be $240 for a visit that lasted about five minutes. My wife was the only one home at the time, and the sudden price change felt misleading. Honest, upfront pricing matters — and this experience did not reflect that.
