Nico called about an hour before arrival so we could meet him at the property. He explained his work as he did it and shared a summary of the furnace tune-up results after completing the work. Very professional, very courteous, and very efficient. We'll use ABC and Nico again.

Dean arrived in the rain and walk my back yard to inspect a flooding issue from my sump pump and roof drain system to help find a solution and provide a bid. We both walked in the rain with umbrellas. I couldn't have asked for better customer service.

Generator Maintenance- first technician they sent out broke my Fuse compartment, admitted he had no experience with my older generac generator, looked it over then said a more experienced technician had to come out. They charged me $200 for that call. Next technician came out. He had more experience so was able to create a temp fix to use my fuse and allow the generator to startup. I told him what another certified Generac tech told me was the problem. He quoted me $2800 and charged me another $200 service call. They may be good with plumbing and heating but my experience with 24/7 and my Generac generator was disappointing and expensive. I went with a new unit through a different provider.

I hired 24/7 to do an overhead sewer conversion in my home, and unfortunately the whole experience has left me really disappointed and uneasy. Before I hired them, I asked a lot of questions about how disruptive the project would be because I was worried about how much of my house would be affected. I was specifically told they would not need to go upstairs to do any part of the work. I chose 24/7 in part because every other company I looked at told me they would need to access pipes upstairs by opening up a wall in my upstairs closet. Dean assured me repeatedly that would not be necessary. That turned out not to be the case, and the project ended up being much more involved than I had been led to expect. 24/7 did credit me $1,000, but it didn't make up for all of the extra work, and I would have rather paid full price to know with confidence the work was done correctly. I don't have that peace of mind. I knew from the beginning that I would have some drywall repair afterward, so that is not what I am upset about. What concerns me is everything that happened along the way. The job failed several plumbing inspections. I have copies of all of those inspection reports. One thing that especially bothered me was the electrical outlet for the ejector pump. The crew had told me they were finished and were just waiting for the city inspector. When the inspector came, he told me the pump was supposed to have its own separate outlet. I asked one of the 24/7 guys about it, and he seemed surprised and said he needed to call the office. They did schedule an electrician afterward, and the outlet was installed. But again, this was something that came up only after the inspector pointed it out, even though I had already been told the job was finished. I was supposed to get a 3/4 hp ejector pit pump. They installed a 1/2 hp. When I pointed it out, they removed it and replaced it with the correct 3/4 hp pump. Then, after the work was completed, I started noticing a sewer smell in my basement. When 24/7 came back out, they found that an opening on the ejector system had not been sealed. Later, during a smoke test, they found that a gasket was also missing from the ejector pit cover. That is the kind of thing that makes a homeowner start wondering what else may have been missed. There are numerous drill holes in my wall from trying to locate a stud, purple plumbing primer was dripped on the wall, and some of the pipe strapping was left hanging in a way that looks unfinished. During the smoke test, one of the workers put a plastic shoe cover over my smoke detector to keep it from going off, and it was still covering the detector after they left. I also found a significant amount of sediment in my basement floor drain and asked whether it was related to the work and whether the drain was functioning properly. Given everything else that had happened, I thought that was a reasonable question. What has probably frustrated me the most is the communication. I sent a detailed email to management explaining my concerns and asking for answers. As of the time I am writing this review, I still have not received a response. I do want to be fair about one thing. Shortly after the sewer work was completed, I found water on my basement floor and called because I wondered if it might be related. It turned out to be a completely separate boiler issue. They diagnosed it and even replaced the affected boiler part without charging me. I appreciated that very much, and I immediately accepted that the problem had nothing to do with their sewer work. I mention that because I am not someone who assumes every problem in my house is their fault This was a major project and a significant expense. I hired a professional company because I wanted to feel confident that the work was done correctly. Instead, I have been left questioning the work and trying to get answers after the fact. I’m sharing my experience because if I were researching companies for a project like this, these are the kinds of things I would want to know before making a decision.
