I had left a previous review with similar stars. About how my basement encapsulation was not sealed at the top on all 4 main walls. There was a follow up from the company stating they came and fixed that issue which is not true it's still not sealed. I did however find the correct tape to try and seal it myself but it was no use. I digress on that because that's not my main concern. I did delete it because I felt I was being unfair. I have since hanged my mind and will upload pictures of my encapsulation since I have no proof of my previous review and that's on me for removing it in the first place. On May 7th 2026 I had basement systems come out due to my basement systems sanidry Sedona failing for the second time. This time due to the fan. Last time it was because of refrigerant. The original dehumidifier was purchased in 2019. And I believe was replaced in 2021 or 2022 sometime ( that I cannot remember ). The Dehumidifier then failed again this time due to the fan which starts this whole next section. I called basement systems and the very nice lady on the phone helped me set up an appointment but I was hesitant on spending 170$ something for just the dehumidifier diagnostics or spending 209$ for the diagnostics plus annual maintenance. I settled on getting it all done for 209$ And the tech came out on May 7th 2026 and did all the annual maintenance and the diagnostics on the dehumidifier. It did turn out to be the fan which is what I expected. It's now out of warranty from 2019 but the replacement was from either 2021 or 2022 but basement systems goes by the original install date which sucks. while the tech was at my house he even mentioned that the dehumidifier I had has a manufacturing defect/design flaw that has since been corrected on newer models and it was about losing refrigerant. Which I wouldn't have known until he told me. But that adds up because that's how the first one died Anyways I got the quote for the new fan and install. And on the quote it mentions. Price for the fan Price for the labor. And another service fee. Of 209$ I understand paying for the part. I understand paying for the labor I do not understand paying for another service fee. So in my response back to the quote received I called it out for being excessive. The tech responded that I paid for annual service not a service fee To which I replied back saying that the lady at the main office implied that paying 209$ for the annual maintenance and dehumidifier diagnostics would be the better route to go because 209$ for all versus 170$ for just diagnostics So the tech gave me another quote and removed the labor charge so for a fan price and service fee I could get it resolved. honestly I'm more upset about the defect that was mentioned to me about the refrigerant. Because I could pay for the fan to be fixed but there's not telling when the refrigerant will become an issue. When the dehumidifier worked it worked great but this is now the 2nd time it has failed. I believe the warranty should start over from the new units install date. That would make sense to me. Overall fairly disappointed with the basement systems ecosystem and going forward I will most likely go with another ecosystem. I would replace the fan myself but since the basement systems ecosystem is closed I cannot find replacement parts Last and finally if a unit fails and is replaced a new warranty should cover the new unit. If a defect was found in other system I should be made aware of the defect not stumble across it from the tech who was being honest. Thanks for reading

Jason Gale made this the best experience I have had with any company for a very long time. He came in, listened and offered personal recommendations that helped me as the consumer without trying to sell a company job or product. He provided me with options to try BEFORE using the company. With his professionalism and knowledge, he has earned a client that will refer many through my line of business and personally. I was beyond impressed and grateful for his expert opinion.

Gray with Woods has been great. He has answered a ton of questions from both myself and my husband, explained in great depth how all the repairs work and even walked through the ins and out of maintenance and suggestions for what may be needed in the future. We feel super confident with Woods and their service after speaking and meeting with Gray, he is very committed to the customer and the work the company does.

I asked Woods Basement Systems for a detailed inspection and assessment of my home's issues, and they sent Mike Jackson out to do it. He got in the crawl space, took measurements inside and out with a variety of tools and apparatus and gave me a very clear picture of what is causing problems and what needs to be done. VERY thorough and thoughtful analysis, for which I am very grateful. I recommend Woods for your home's foundation, and I will be in touch with them again. This review is not compensated in any way. It's my honest take on an honest company.

Andrew Helfrich was my technician. He called to let me know he was on his way - which I appreciated. He was very professional and informative and explained everything about our system both inside and outside to me. He cleaned up after himself, wore the booties over his shoes when working in our home. I appreciated his checking on possible foundation issues and his courteousness.
