  I called prior to my hour drive to rent out a material lift. The owner Junior specifically told me the costs of two pieces of equipment, a 400lb lift and a 650lb lift. He told me the prices of each for a day/week/month. He also stated there is a required 500 dollar deposit. I told junior I would just show up, he said no call me back and let me know which specific one you need so I can have it ready for you. I said perfect give me 5-10 minutes. I called back and stated I needed the 650lb lift. I drove an hour and show up and now he stated I needed to pay a 1,200 deposit! I told him “you said I needed to pay $500 over the phone?” He replied saying yeah but that’s because you didnt tell me which one you were taking, the $500 is for the 400lb lift you’re taking the bigger one. Terrible customer service and very cocky attitudes. He said to me “it’s like if you’re going to rent a car you need to pay deposits everywhere you rent” I know that I’m not complaining about the deposit I’m complaining about the ridiculous increase in deposit that was initially told to me over the phone before I drove an hour.

  Rented a machine to take off/grind paint off my basement cement floors. The guys at the counter were very helpful and gave us lots of info and direction. Will rent again from here as they have so many tools. Tip; I was first time customer and had to put a 600$ cash deposit and a $2000 pre authorization on my card. I had to run to get cash but wasn’t a big deal since Chase is a few min away.
