  So after months of completely hating my door, And thinking it’s my fault that I didn’t check the receipt correctly .I finally figured it out. It is absolutely not my fault and it’s too late for anything to be done about it!! I’m stuck with a door with 2 major issues I paid thousands for! If I misunderstood it, no wonder the manufacturer screwed up my entire door too!! door and sidelight are supposed to be matching glass was supposed to match , But at the bottom of the receipt it says door window clear!! Not clear as in not match side light glass design! (Which I too thought , when I went to double check why it was done like this)) it was clear of those wooden squares—- We had multiple conversations because of privacy which design to pick for both — And my sidelight is a bathroom window- I picked them because they assured me multiple times because privacy for my children and I was priority— that you would not see in side- that’s not the case- I called immediately after realizing the issue- and owner said “ well it’s going to cost a pretty penny to change it out” (something along those lines) — which I don’t have - I spent what I had on replacing a broken door- I’m a single mom, a disabled veteran, and far from rich- if I could just spend thousand on replacing it with out issue I would- Because of these 2 issues - I would never recommend this place- Manufacturer doesn’t understand their orders the way they are written, and privacy window does NOT mean privacy. Gave 2 stars because before ordering the owner was helpful with double checking my measurements- and delivery — I hate my brand new door- wasted thousands, in my first home, on my first big project- upset is an understatement

  Installed garage service door and front storm door was better than expected. Looks great and functions better. I would use them again.

  I had my doors installed today from the Door Store. From the staff to the installer Bob I am very pleased with the results. Love the service and will recommend The Door Store to anyone who is looking for service.

  had a tremendous experience with the door store, and in particular their installer scott. he worked all day to get three total doors installed, and even helped me fix an issue with a fourth door inside my house that wouldn’t shut. he went above and beyond in more ways than one, and was funny, kind and thoughtful throughout the entire experience. a couple of my neighbors even asked for his business card when they saw the level of work he was doing. i didn’t know i cared this much about doors until now - where i’m sitting here with my new ones and looking at the skill of the craftsmanship and beauty of the designs up close. thank you door store team!

  Excellent service!!! From the quality of the door to the installer. Scott was one of the best installers. He was professional, did a great job with installing my door and cleaned up everything before leaving. I didn’t think we still had company’s and installers like this around anymore. I wish this company could install in the south suburbs. I would use this company again and refer them to anyone who is looking for good quality doors and installers. Customer service and quality work is everything. Thank you, Tom, Doug and Scott @ the door store.
