Courteous, honest, clean and efficient. They replaced a rooftop AC unit for our rental unit and everything was so smooth and at a reasonable price for quality equipment. Happy customer!

The short version is we spent $12k on a new AC four years ago and now it’s broken and they want $6k to attempt to fix it. Choose another company. Full version: We spent ~$12k on a new heat pump (AC/heater) to be installed by Deljo in June 2022 (4 years ago). We thought we were getting a quality unit from a competent team. We had issues almost immediately. To start they insisted we purchase a new thermostat for $1k because our Nest “isn’t compatible.” After the install we had them try to hook up the Nest and it worked so they had to refund us. Then in the winter when we tried to turn on the heat, they had to come back because a coil had been improperly installed and the heat wouldn’t turn on. We had no issues for about two years, until this winter when we called them back for regular maintenance. They forgot to close a safety door and the day after they left the heat wouldn’t turn on during a below 0 degree day in January. They had to come back out to fix it. Now it’s July and we’re trying to use our AC but it won’t turn on. They came out ($149) and identified the issue, saying a crack led to all the Freon leaking out. They quoted us $300+ per pound of Freon plus the cost of the fix. (We called Four Seasons and they only wanted $160 per pound for Freon for reference. This is robbery.) Before fixing they insisted on another test to be run, which we finally agreed to ($600). They found the original issue they identified isn’t the actual issue and now want us to pay a “discounted rate” of $1k for the next test. We’ve been asking for a call to discuss and we’ve now received the same typo riddled email sent twice in a row in lieu of that. Save your money and buy a window unit.

**Scammers.** This is one of the most unethical companies I've ever dealt with. Our A/C unit is located above our kitchen, and during the recent heatwave we woke up to water leaking through the ceiling. Because of the extreme demand, our regular HVAC technician couldn't get to us for a few days, so we called Deljo based on a recommendation from our property management company. The technician, Matthew, diagnosed two issues: a clogged drain hose and corroded threading where the hose reattaches due to the age of the unit. He said he could try to clear the clog and silicone the hose back into place. When we asked for the price, he quoted **over $600** for the repair, **plus** the $130 service call, bringing the total to nearly **$750**. When I mentioned that our regular technician had performed essentially the same repair for under $100 in the past, the quote suddenly dropped to around **$450**. It's hard not to question the pricing when it can be reduced by roughly $300 on the spot. Matthew then attempted to reattach the hose with silicone but said he couldn't get it to work and told us we'd need to replace the entire A/C unit. I never received a quote for the replacement, but I can only imagine it would have cost thousands and thousands of dollars. We insisted that he at least apply the silicone and give it a try. He warned us there was no guarantee it would hold. Sure enough, we woke up the next morning to even more water leaking through our ceiling. Fortunately, our regular HVAC technician was finally able to come out. Instead of recommending a complete replacement, he found an alternative solution that will fix the problem for **$450**—saving us from spending thousands on a brand-new unit. Based on our experience, Deljo appeared far more interested in selling an expensive replacement than finding a practical repair. I would not recommend this company. I'm not sure how this company has such great reviews.
