I called because of the high reviews, but couldn’t deal with the AI ‘smart assistant’ so I finally hung up. Then someone called me back from a call center - I’m sure they’re great but maybe they’re too big for what I’m looking for. I just want a friendly neighborhood guy I can call for a future emergency - this didn’t feel like that.

Unfortunately, Deljo is unreliable, especially if you need a 40 foot ladder. Their new system is AI, which is difficult to schedule, inaccurate, and misquotes the price. Additionally, their office now called to reschedule the appointment twice. It’s not a good way to run a business, and it’s a poor customer experience to have an unreliable vendor.

I had a great experience Deljo heating and cooling. My shower was leaking into the kitchen and they were able to send someone out very quickly to assess the situation and find the source of the problem. Jorge Dimitriadis was the plumber and he walked me through every step and kept me in the loop on what they needed to do. This was my first time having something like this happen so Jorge went above and beyond to explain what happened and the next steps I should take. While he was at my home I had him tighten some sink handles that were very difficult to get to and asked (a lot) of general plumbing questions. As a first time homeowner I’m always trying to learn more about what makes everything in a house tick. He was very professional, informative, and all around awesome. I would definitely recommend him and Deljo to others.
I hired Deljo to replace an ejector pump in my basement utility room in mid-February. Unfortunately, less than a month later my basement flooded because the ejector pump stopped working. Deljo blamed the pump manufacturer, but I can't be sure it was ever installed properly in the first place since I'm not a plumber. I also relied on Deljo to source equipment that worked properly. Either way, the flooding caused over $10k in damage, of which Deljo offered to cover $1k. So no, I did not have a good experience with this company. Even now, I nervously double check to make sure the pump is working properly when it rains because I don't trust Deljo's work.

Edit: In response to Deljo’s comment on my post. I have reached to your plumbing manager directly and they stopped responding to me. I’m available anytime if you want to make this right.

We had new furnaces and a/c units installed several years ago. All was fine until about 1-1/2 years ago when the thermostat began showing notices that it could not “communicate” with the units outside. Multiple technicians from Deljo came but could not solve the problem. Joe Arceo came today and solved the problem fairly rapidly. I told him he’s the Genius Bar at Deljo. I can recommend Joe as a highly competent, intelligent and pleasant guy. He’s the one I will request for all service going forward.
