  Our home inspection experience with John was absolutely fantastic! Our inspector was incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and professional. He took the time to carefully inspect everything, explain his findings in a way that was easy to understand, and answer all of our questions without ever making us feel rushed. We especially appreciated how detailed the inspection report was and how clearly he explained which items were important versus more minor concerns. Buying a home can be stressful, and having someone we trusted in our corner made a huge difference. We would highly recommend him to anyone buying a home, especially if you want an inspector who genuinely takes the time to do a thorough job and looks out for his clients. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

  Great experience working with Chicagoland! - Alex and Mujo were our inspectors for our new SFM. They did a great job walking us through their findings during the session. Our realtor was also impressed with them - we added on a radon, sewer and mold test as well - the report was very clear. especially helpful was the walkthrough with Charlie the next day who helped us to answer our questions around how to address the issues that were brought up! this was extremely insightful given this is our first SFM Highly recommend!!

  To anyone looking to get an inspection on a home and are nervous; this is probably the greatest and most thorough inspection I have ever gotten in my entire life. It's almost like a guide on what you should address as a homeowner. For the 600 paid, this was invaluable. Vince spent almost 5-6 hours at the property, meticulously investigated almost every aspect of the home. It really gave us a bearing on what we would be undertaking. The report itself was easy to read and navigate via web portal. It is sorted from most important to least important repair items, items worth asking a credit for, and items not worth asking a credit for. I'll probably get another inspection a couple years down the line so that I can grade myself as a homeowner. I know 600 feels steep (which is the industry-standard), but please trust me, this report is worth its weight in gold. I have it printed out and am crossing out things as I achieve them. I HIGHLY recommend Chicagoland Home Inspectors. A special kudos to Vince who did an awesome job for us and helped us ultimately decide to close on the home. Thanks again!

  We used Chicagoland Home Inspectors (John Olson did the inspection), and they were amazing! Very easy to schedule, very thorough and very honest company. They truly do work for you - not the realtors or process. They gave us very valuable information about a home we were considering, and we ultimately walked away because of the breadth of issues in the inspection report. We have worked with other inspectors in the past, and they were not nearly as thorough as this team. Would hire and recommend again 100 times over.

  I had my one-bedroom condo inspected in preparation for my purchase of the unit. Me and my wife had been living in it for 10 years and despite it being lived in, the inspector from Chicagoland Home Inspectors - Alex Ortega - was very accommodating and knew how to navigate everything while still being thorough in his work. I had a history of working in property management and had a nice time talking shop and asking specific questions to Alex for which he was very knowledgeable. Before the day's end, Alex had a clear and well laid out report complete with photos and some videos notating all the issues with the unit, small and considerable (thankfully nothing majorly wrong). I had selected Chicagoland Home Inspectors because of the good reviews and clear website with easy process of coordinating and scheduling for my inspection. They give you a choice of inspector but I had let them select one for me and everything worked out great!
