  Matthew L went above and beyond for his services at my home today. I had main pipe clogged and it left a mess in my basement. Matthew was kind enough to clean it up so I didn't have a huge mess! He was courteous and walked me through the whole process. This is my first time using Roto Rooter and he made the experience fantastic! Thank you Matthew!

  I was almost satisfied with the service, but there were significant issues that need attention. The technician did not check whether I could close my bathroom door after the toilet installation. He simply said to call back if there was a problem. When I did call, he wanted to charge extra rather than assess the situation first. A professional should exercise good judgment, and unfortunately, that did not happen here. Initially, I was informed there would be an assessment to evaluate the work needed, including reviewing the new toilet. The first technician looked at it but did not express any concerns. A second technician then came to complete the job. I understand that sometimes things can go wrong, but the first technician explicitly told me to call if there were any issues—so I did. Instead of evaluating the situation, the technician immediately quoted me extra. He even commented, “you bought a bigger toilet,” without verifying the measurements himself. I feel that a true professional should recognize potential issues with toilet size during installation rather than simply trying to complete the job. Assessing the situation first, and then quoting if necessary, would have been the correct approach. I would have been willing to pay for any additional work if it had been justified. I am sharing this feedback to help other customers make informed decisions. I value good service and hope this company can improve its professionalism and approach to customer care.
