We were wanting to update our countertops in our kitchen and Heartland Granite & Quartz Countertops was recommended by a friend. We went to the showroom and picked out a Quartz countertop. We were on a tight schedule and they custom cut our countertops & installed them on time. They look fantastic & we definitely would recommend them.

Frequently Asked Questions About Heartland Granite & Quartz Countertops
What is the difference between granite and quartz countertops?
Granite is a natural stone extracted from quarries, while quartz countertops are manufactured using natural quartz combined with resins to enhance durability and consistency. Granite countertops feature unique patterns, whereas quartz offers a more uniform appearance and superior resistance to staining.
Do I need to seal my granite or quartz countertops?
Granite countertops require sealing to protect against stains. At Heartland Granite & Quartz, we apply a 25-year sealant. Quartz countertops, being non-porous, do not need sealing.
Do you remove and dispose of old countertops?
Yes, we offer removal and disposal of existing countertops as part of our installation service. This additional service incurs a fee but ensures a smooth and convenient upgrade process for our clients.
How do I maintain and clean my countertops?
For routine cleaning, use mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. If you have granite countertops, we recommend using a pH-neutral stone cleaner to maintain the protective seal.
What edge profiles do you offer for countertops?
We provide several custom edge options for our countertops. These include eased, crescent, ogee, and demi profiles, allowing you to choose the style that best complements your design preferences.
Do you offer custom fabrication for sinks, islands, and backsplashes?
We specialize in custom fabrication services. This includes precise cutting for sink installations, creating waterfall edges, designing full-height backsplashes, and crafting unique island shapes to meet your specific requirements.
Can you install an undermount sink with granite or quartz?
Both granite and quartz countertops are compatible with undermount sinks. Our fabrication process involves creating an exact cutout to ensure a seamless, watertight installation.
Will my granite or quartz countertop have seams?
Seams may be necessary depending on the size of your countertop and the dimensions of the slab. Our company utilizes advanced technology to ensure that any required seams are as inconspicuous as possible.
Are your countertops covered by a warranty?
Typically, granite and quartz materials come with manufacturer warranties. We can provide detailed warranty information based on the specific material you select for your countertops.
Do you offer remnants for small projects like vanities or fireplaces?
We do offer remnants, which are ideal for smaller projects such as bathroom vanities, laundry rooms, fireplace hearths, and decorative accent pieces. These remnants are available at a reduced cost.
