  I had cardinal plumbing come to a home I work at and test our backflow so we could have all our ducks in a line in case we were inspected. Tyler Embrich failed us for both test but he explained everything to me like no one ever has before and made eye contact with me the entire time he did so, and never said uh, or I think, or anything that would make home seem less professional. I was impressed and when he comes back I am sure we will pass because he will make it work right . Thanks cardinal plumbing !

  Cardinal Plumbing did an excellent job on my water heater replacement. Every team member I spoke with and that worked on diagnostics and the actual replacement was kind, knowledgeable, and honest. When they presented the 3 different options for replacement, they explained the options well. I appreciate I was able to speak with someone on the first call and set up an appointment right then. If you are looking for an honest, knowledgeable, kind, competitively priced plumbing company, then I highly recommend Cardinal Plumbing.

  Over the years I’ve dealt with several companies in the Alton area. I often find myself disappointed. I’m not a picky person. I just expect communication and professionalism. Thankfully cardinal plumbing has both in spades. From the moment I called them they sent me thorough communication and then the moment they did the service everything was extremely professional. I will be using them again. Both of the guys showed up early and I got a text message with who they were. I feel like they got done early as well and they make sure that I was happy with the job. Highly recommend them.

  Couple of things I’d like to say both good and bad. First, it would be nice if the company told you up front that they charge a service fee for using a debit card. I would have gone to the bank. That being said, the price of this job was off the charts! I would have never even considered to take that much money out of the bank for the job. One hour labor is $600!!! That’s crazy!! Now the good. What a very nice young man Nick was! So grateful to him for showing me where my main water shut off was located! And all is fixed!! He even tried to fix my handle on the toilet. What a kind young man. Thanks Nick!

  "I cannot recommend Cardinal Plumbing enough! We recently had work done and were incredibly impressed with the entire experience. A huge shout-out to Zach, who handled our project. His experience was evident from the moment he started; he diagnosed the issue faster than I expected. Beyond that, his attention to detail was impeccable—he made sure everything was perfect, cleaned up thoroughly, and walked me through every step of the process. It’s rare to find a plumber who combines that level of skill with such care for the customer's home.
