I would strongly recommend staying away from this company. We purchased our windows and patio sliding glass door through them, and we are now dealing with a warranty issue that has been an absolute mess. They ordered the wrong replacement door, and then damaged the original door while attempting to replace it. Also they had to reschedule the incorrect install. Months later, we are STILL waiting for another replacement. The communication has been extremely frustrating. Isela keeps giving me the runaround, saying things like, “I’ll call you in two weeks,” and then telling me that if I don’t hear from her, I should call in three weeks. What does that even mean? There is still no clear timeline or resolution. What is even more frustrating is that they won’t even schedule someone to come out and address the damage they caused to our original door while we continue waiting for the replacement. Months of waiting, no clear answers, and no real accountability. This has been a terrible warranty experience from start to finish. I still have a non working sliding glass door. Save yourself the headache and stay away.

When you order new windows from Hines, make sure your salesman is professional and know how to measure. We were replacing old windows here through our contractor who work with Dave. Dave came to our house and measured all our 11 windows and every 11 windows he measured were 4” short and 1 of the window is 3” wider and 4” shorter and our contractor installed them, cut our crown molding and floor trim to be able to install that window. He did not take any responsible for it and wanted to get away from this by telling us to talk to our contractor. He is unprofessional to replacing old windows. He can’t measure right. Unprofessional. Nightmare!
