Located in Treasure Valley at the base of the Boise Basin and extending to the Boise River, the town of Star earned its name from a star that was nailed to the front door of the first schoolhouse. Using the star as a guide, travelers then knew they could seek lodging one mile ahead, and the name stuck. Today, Star is thriving, and Williams Homes is proud to bring its 25 years of experience to town with the new homes of Cranefield.
