  Mike Carlson and his crew did a wonderful job on our new patio and the concrete edge of our driveway. They operated efficiently and with great card. Mike is easy to talk to and is willing to give you sound advice for your project. My wife and I would highly recommend him and his crew.

  I cannot see enough good things about Mike and his team. I have worked with many contractors over the last 35 years and he has by far been the best contractor we have worked with. He gets back to you right away, he is personable, detailed, and thorough. He poured a large side yard wrapping around the back of the house making a large back patio here they also had him for a pad for our gazebo. He took the time to share insights that we would not have thought of. Amazing experience!

  I cannot say enough good things about Mike. His team poured a concrete patio and an RV pad. He is very personable, and professional. His first impression seemed almost too good to be true, but he finished his job here as well as he started. I even noticed his workers took pride in their work. I would not recommend anyone else! Superb work ethic and we would go with him again! Side note: I needed to reach out about a question, and he responded so quickly and gave an above and beyond answer. Just a great guy!

  It is my pleasure to recommend Mike Carlson Custom Concrete. He and his crew recently made our dream patio a reality, and did so with style. Mike offered and explained the pros and cons of various options, and really helped us come to a best-possible outcome. Both Mike and his whole crew were friendly, polite, and hard-working. It was obvious they knew what to do, when, and how, and even incorporated control joints artistically which adds to the patio’s interest. Mike has years of experience in his trade and it shows. Don’t hesitate to put him and that experience to work for you, you won’t regret it!

  I cannot recommend them highly enough. We hired them to pave a concrete trailer pad with a French drain (7ft deep)—a challenging project because it required traversing existing water, power, and fiber utility lines. Mike is a true expert. He was responsive, walked me through the process, and anticipated all kinds of things I wouldn't have thought of: -He made sure we had the city come out to pull the fiber line ahead of time. -Because the fiber had to be buried deeper, the existing conduit wasn't long enough. Mike and his team came prepared and seamlessly replaced it with a longer piece. -He ensured the French drain was wide and deep enough to handle all the water and ice accumulation throughout the winter. -He worked closely with me to coordinate with our fencing company so they could dig their post holes ahead of the concrete pour. -They added an extra length of conduit for our sprinkler system, just in case we ever need to run a new wire to the controller. The crew was friendly, efficient, and their attention to detail was top-notch. The final concrete pad and drainage system are high-quality and look great. The construction crew working next door told me Mike is the guy they call for their larger projects. Our fencing guys spoke highly of him too. We are already planning to work with them again on a second project.
