Extremely disappointed. We feel completely taken advantage of.
Have never been this dissatisfied with an equipment rental company. The lack of transparency throughout the rental process was extremely frustrating, and me and my husband ultimately felt like we were ripped off.
What makes this even more disappointing is that when the issue was brought to their attention, husband was told they would make it right. We took them at their word, but since then, there has been no follow-up and no resolution.
If you make a mistake or a customer has a legitimate concern, the right thing to do is communicate, take responsibility, and follow through. Unfortunately, that did not happen here.
We will not be using this company again. Unfortunately lesson learned the hard way
Very disappointing service, poor communication, and a complete lack of follow-through.
Would give them zero starts if Google would let me :(

Ripped off by a very deceptive company. Rented an excavator sized by their recommendation for a two Day rental. Equipment was delivered and proved to be woefully inadequate for the task. Called them to pick it up the next day. Not only was the very expensive delivery fee never mentioned but they also failed to inform me that they do not rent by the day but by the hour. Contrary to their price quote. When I asked about the $108.22 reduction in the refund, I was only then told about the hourly rental fee. They say that because there where 9 hours of runtime that I was being charged for two hours of the second day. I do not like being deceived, lied to or cheated. Not only will I never use them again but I will forever make a point to inform everyone of their business practices.

Rented a chipper, guys swore up and down it's been serviced. Get to the job thing won't even take a inch branch. Called in guys said they "will give me something for my problems". Yet when I came in lady in the front had attitude no hey sorry for screwing your day up nothing just a side smerk and my receipt and walked away. Such a waste of time and money. This is the second chipper from second location I've rented with same issues. And both companies said they would do something and yet neither one of them did anything. No sorry or will make it right just here's your money back goodbye. So if you guys don't care I don't care.

Had a very bad time at sunbelt rentals post falls. Attempted to rent a top dresser. The unit itself had the belt installed incorrectly and required 2.5-3 hours of work just to get 15-20 minutes of use out of the machine. While the bucket can hold quite a bit of volume, the track and spreader freeze up and refuse to work if there is more than 8 gallons of sand in the machine. It is essentially a glorified wheelbarrow as you will be shoveling out whatever you put in. There was no attempt by the staff to remedy the situation, offer a discount, refund, or explanation. Overall very disappointed and would caution anyone to use their service.

Is a deposit required for a reservation?
For customers without a line of credit, Sunbelt Rentals does not require a deposit to rent tools and equipment. However, you will be asked for payment information when you make your reservation. Your credit or debit card will not be charged for the rental period (one ((1)) day minimum) until you pick up the equipment.
For Credit Customers, we will secure a deposit for your reservation. This deposit will be held within your account until the rental equipment is returned and the contract closed. Apply for a credit account here.
If your project is quick and you only need the equipment for a few hours, Sunbelt Rentals does offer a Rapid Return rate. Return the equipment within four (4) hours of the pickup time and we will refund the difference of the Rapid Return rate. Rates will vary based on product. What if I need to keep my equipment longer?
If you need assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can extend the rental for you. When you keep the equipment longer, we will add the additional time and charges to your contract and credit card. Please refer to the rental contract, where the day, week and 4-week rates are shown for each piece of tool and equipment.
Can I return rented equipment at any location?
Typically, equipment should be returned to the same location where you initially rented it. If you need to return it to a different location, please contact the store where you rented the equipment for guidance. It’s advisable to call ahead so we can assist you in finding a convenient alternative location for your return. Your convenience is our priority.
What is the cost for the delivery of equipment to my location?
The delivery charge is calculated based on the category and class of equipment, the location of the rental location, the distance of the project site from the rental location.
Can I get tools and equipment delivered to me?
Yes, Sunbelt Rentals offers convenient delivery options from our extensive network of locations for a reasonable fee. When making a reservation, simply select the delivery option.
