  We have purchased two generators from Selkirk Power Generation for two different projects. We have been extremely happy. Everything was done according to plan and finished on time. We could not be happier and would highly recommend them to anybody looking for a generator or service for their generator.

  Robert, the "owner" of Selkirk Power Generation, came onsite to my home to access what needed to be done. It soon became obvious that his greatest interest is to hear himself dribble on incessantly with a never ending litany of vulgar and foul epithet's to describe minorities and the government. He went on to sell me an incorrect automatic transfer switch (ATS) that I paid nearly $2,000 to have wired in. When it didn't work he blamed my electrician and sent his referral electrician (who were very decent people). After paying their service fee they determined that Robert had sold me the incorrect ATS so Selkirk Power exchanged it for the "correct one" which I paid to have installed.....AGAIN. But Wait! Robert with his foul mouthed marginal IQ sent a SECOND incorrect ATS. Remember he had been on site F-bombing his way through how knowledgeable he was about Kohler Generators... So a THIRD ATS (actually it turned out that it required two side by side to handle the three buildings it will service) was exchanged out; and I was made aware of how lucky I was that I wasn't be charged extra for that. FINALLY got it wired in and its time for Robert to come down and "fire it up" - two visits, countless vulgarities and unnecessary racial disparities, and $645.00 later and Robert still hasn't made the generator functional. I finally switched to another company to get it fixed. Robert cost me an Easy $5,000.00 in wasted electrician fees by sending incorrect parts. I'd have to go back to the 1970's - 1980's logging camps to recollect the last time I had been so verbally assaulted with the constant flow of mindless vulgarities; I truly believe that I am dumber for have done business with and listening to Robert. In case I haven't got my point across; RUN don't walk to ANYONE else to work on or buy a generator from.

  10 stars!!! The owner knows his stuff!!! Hands down, the most knowledgeable person I have ever met that deals with power generation. Used their services multiple times. Great every time. One example was when they helped and fixed my Kohler LP generator. I was literally on the phone with the original Kohler seller and multiple Kohler techs for well over 3 hours with them trying to diagnose the issue to no resolve. Selkirk Power literally did it in 5 minutes. Enough said. Highly recommend.
