  Joe performed the annual inspection of the plumbing in our home. He was thorough and went over all of his findings. Fortunately, no issues were found. Joe is pleasant, professional and detail oriented.

  Found out today from my elderly parents that they had a plumber come out and fix a leaking external faucet / hose bibb for the front of the house. Before I share my huge concerns I do want to acknowledge that they were apparently professional and did complete the job and replaced the failed components. Apparently $1300.00 for a single hose bibb replacement and installation, on a copper pipe system, taking approximately 60 mins to complete is reasonable? Also this wasnt an after hours repair rate either as it was done mid day on a Tuesday. I did a little digging and saw that a relocation is the most expensive hose bibb job and is around $800, but a "complex" replacement in a crawl space that is really difficult should take up to an hour. They said the gentleman was replacing it for about that long, and didnt mention the job being difficult. This job is usually up to $600 from what I could find. Make sure you really call around. Sad to see fellow tradesmen and businesses taking advantage of the elderly like this. I hate myself more then anything for not living close enough to help them not get taken advantage of. Maybe there was some super complex issue that wasnt explained to them when the work was done, I just can't imagine what was so difficult that it added $700 but was still completed in the same 60min time frame. Please Please help your parents check into pricing! Note: I took some time to look up the cost of hardware for a job like this and there must have been an upcharged item installed because it was under $200 for the premium options that I could find . Most standard options for this hardware being MUCH less then this. I just hope the hardware that was installed truly was approximately $700 consumer pricing, which I can't seem to find any premium options costing that much. If not this company is taking advantage of people who dont have the capacity to know better what the cost of labor and parts are. I was expecting to be shocked that it cost $800, when I heard $1300 I was truly disheartened.

  It was easy to schedule Plumbing Maintenance at a great price. Office staff were great to work with. Plumbing tech Joe was awesome! 5+ stars!!On time, knowledgeable and professional. Walked me through his findings throughout my house and made great recommendations. Prices for future service and replacing lines and water heater very very reasonable. Hard to find great service techs or affordable care for home maintenance these days so it was a truly great experience! I would highly recommend Wickstrom.

  I had the pleasure of working with Evan during my plumbing inspection. He was detailed, knowledgable, and attentive to the issues. He was my boots on the ground following a property inspection and checked out all my plumbing systems to verify any issues and to make sure things were working properly. Being offsite in another state, I appreciated his feedback and thorough explanations. We ended up not needing any plumbing remediation for the sale of the property but I would highly recommend Wickstrom to take a look at your systems.
