- BJBruce JolleySep 15, 20265.0We paid AdvantaServe $20k for a new A/C and furnace. The system, once installed, never functioned properly. They kept telling us we need to replace one thing after another, which we did. Still, the furnace would shut down intermittently during the winter months and the A/C did the same thing during the hotter months. They told us we would need to tear out the ceilings and run new duct work in order for the system to work. This was their conclusion after making countless service calls to my home over the course of a year, and replacing virtually every component on a five zone system. I ended up buying window A/C units and a swamp cooler just so we could stand the heat. I finally had it with Advantaserve and called High Country. Best thing I could have done. They came to my home and within three hours diagnosed what was wrong with the HVAC system (it wasn’t the size of the air ducts) and had the A/C and various zones functioning like they should. That was a month ago, and we haven’t had a problem since. I wish we had called High Country first and saved ourselves a year of frustration. I can’t over-state how pleased we are with High Country and would recommend them to anyone. Its rare anymore to find a company that has integrity and knows what they’re doing, High Country is both.
