- GWGrant WilsonOct 27, 20265.0Exceptional customer service! We recently reached out for help with an HVAC repair, and our experience so far has been outstanding. They went above and beyond to help us find an affordable solution and were incredibly accommodating, knowledgeable, and generous with their time. It's refreshing to find a company that genuinely cares about helping people rather than just making a sale. We haven't had the actual service performed yet, but based on our experience so far, we're extremely impressed and grateful. Thank you for the outstanding customer service!
- GSGary SmithOct 21, 20265.0Jim is a very smart, experienced HVAC tech. I trust him greatly. He’s a true gentleman. This day’s service is part of my annual pre-paid spring A/C checkup and fall heating checkup.

- JMJerry MillerAug 9, 20225.0First impression, amazing people! Our AC went out yesterday and we called HEC due to recommendations I received a month ago to find a new company after our existing company decided we weren't worth their time not living in the Boise/Meridian area and opted to raise their rates by 400% (I'm not kidding). Jim showed up earlier than the estimated time-frame and got right to it. The problem was found and fixed in less than 20 minutes, and once again the system was back to normal. Jim was great to talk to and had a great personality and excellent professionalism in his work. Also, Kudos to Monica in the office who took the time to answer my question and explain their service agreements. I immediately asked to sign up after hearing what a great deal they offered. We are looking forward to having them on our side in the future!
Frequently Asked Questions About Heating Equipment Company
Does Lennox offer any rebates?
Yes. Lennox Industries provides rebates on various equipment models during specific promotional periods.
Is there a way to deduct the cost of my HVAC purchase as a medical expense?
This may be possible when the equipment purchase qualifies as a medical necessity (for example, an air cleaner might qualify as medically necessary for individuals with respiratory conditions).
If I smell gas, what should I do?
When you detect a gas odor inside your home, follow these recommended steps: NOTE: Make all phone calls from outside your home. Avoid using phones inside the house or operating any power switches or light switches during this situation. Contact: 1) your local fire department (911). 2) Intermountain Gas Company (phone: 1-(877)-777-7442) or your local gas supplier. 3) a local heating contractor.
What types of Lennox furnaces are available?
Lennox provides an extensive selection of 80% and 90% natural gas furnaces, along with electric and oil furnace options. Multiple models are available within each category.
Are there limitations about where a Lennox furnace can be installed?
Yes, certain locations are not suitable for furnace installation (consult manufacturer installation guidelines, your heating contractor, and local building codes for specific requirements). Common furnace installation locations include garages, attics, crawl spaces, and indoor closet areas.
What is Silent Comfort Technology?
This is a patent-pending fan design that works with an insulated compressor to significantly reduce noise production.
I see air conditioners rated with a SEER rating, what does this mean?
This represents the efficiency rating. It functions similar to miles per gallon for vehicles. Higher numbers indicate greater system efficiency.
How does an air-conditioner differ from a heat pump?
An air conditioner permits refrigerant to flow in only one direction, enabling the standard air conditioning cycle. A heat pump uses a reversing valve that allows refrigerant to flow in either of two directions. This refrigerant flow capability enables both air conditioning and heating functions for your home.
Does Lennox offer a solar powered heat pump?
Lennox began offering a solar powered heat pump system in 2010.
What is lowest temperature that a heat pump will work?
Equipment specifications vary along with their operating ranges. Generally, 40 degrees serves as a standard threshold where many heat pumps start losing efficiency. Most units continue operating down to 17 degrees, with certain equipment functioning at even lower temperatures. When the thermostat detects through its outdoor temperature sensor that external temperatures are too low for efficient heat pump operation as the primary heat source, it automatically shifts to a secondary heating source (gas, propane, oil, or electric).
