Our family has had a lot of work done through Wickstrom - both heating & cooling, and plumbing. We recently had an issue that we had to call for some help. Wickstrom is so pleasant to deal with at every point of the process. Levi came out and helped us today. He was such a knowledgeable, friendly and courteous guy. If you are looking for a place that makes you feel like family - Wickstrom is it! After every encounter we always go back to “choosing Wickstrom was money well spent!” Thank you Levi, and thank you Wickstrom, for all you do!
Aside from the pain of having a kitchen sink clog so bad I couldn’t fix myself, couldn’t ask for better service. Working with Wickstrom was a very good experience, starting with Rochelle in the office, who is pleasant and professional with excellent phone skills. She got us scheduled quickly and Jay came out the next morning and was great to work with - respectful of property, polite, good communication throughout, and clearly likes his job, the family run company, and takes pride in good customer service, all of which I appreciate. Price for some extra drain pipe cleaning seemed high to me, but I don’t really have a comparison and it was worth it to know the problem should not reoccur for a long time and back to as good as new. Now to catch up on dishes…

Scheduled A/C maintenance for this morning back in May. Received a call less than an hour before they closed yesterday informing me that the Technician was unavailable and I would need to reschedule. I was told the earliest appointment is in three weeks. So from the time I placed my original call until they could actually send someone out would be 7-8 weeks. This was after they sold me on an A/C maintenance specila they were running.
I havbe used them for a few years, but three weeks ago, after having some work done on my water pipes, the plumber, without my knowledge, signed me up for their preferred customer plan. I called to cancel and have yet to receive my refund.
I would beware going forward. This is not the same Wickstrom that i came to know and love over the past two years.
Our team had a disappointing experience with Wickstrom during a real estate transaction. We hired them to perform a sewer scope, and their plumber incorrectly informed buyers that the property was connected to a failing septic system. After further investigation, including confirmation from the city and a second opinion, it was determined that the home was actually connected to city sewer.
Wickstrom later acknowledged that the initial assessment was incorrect - however the inaccurate information had already created unnecessary concerns resulting in the deal not moving forward. A manager promised to meet at the property to address the issue but never showed up.
In our business, inaccurate inspection findings can have MAJOR financial consequences. This experience raised concerns about Wickstrom's verification and quality-control processes, and reiterates the importance of confirming major conclusions before presenting them as fact.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Wickstrom Plumbing.
Wickstrom was hired to perform a sewer scope on a property I had listed for sale. During the inspection, their plumber, Alex, incorrectly informed the buyers that the home was connected to a failing septic system. This was a major claim that immediately raised concerns and impacted the transaction.
After receiving this information, I sought a second opinion and also confirmed directly with the city that the property is actually connected to city sewer—not a septic system at all. When I contacted Wickstrom about the discrepancy, they admitted the initial assessment was essentially a guess and that the guess was wrong.
To their credit, they sent another plumber, Jake, to the property. Jake was professional, thorough, and confirmed that the home was connected to city sewer. Unfortunately, the damage had already been done.
The situation became even more frustrating when manager Gavin contacted me and promised to personally meet me at the property and provide assistance in resolving the issue. He never showed up. Instead, another employee was sent out simply to confirm, once again, that the property was on city sewer.
In the end, a major plumbing conclusion was presented to buyers without being properly verified. In a real estate transaction, mistakes like this can have significant financial consequences and can cost sellers thousands of dollars. Buyers rely on professional inspections and opinions when making decisions, and inaccurate information can derail a transaction.
What is most disappointing is that a company that presents itself as an industry leader would make such a significant error on something that should have been confirmed before being reported as fact. I hope Wickstrom improves its quality control and verification procedures so that other homeowners and sellers do not experience similar issues.
