  Logan & Jason came on different days they were very patient knowledgeable in answering all my questions, and took care of the issue's with our new home. Also they will be returning to finish up next week. Thank you both.

  My experience with Diego was outstanding. He answered questions I had concerning the furnace and saw no reason to do maintenance but suggested because of the season we are in he check on the A/C instead. He reviewed all the settings with me and explained them to a novice as I am. All in all it was a great experience. I would recommend True Comfort if asked, based on employeses such as Diego.

  So glad to find this company. They did a great job and are extremely reliable, knowledgeable, honest, affordable and locally owned. They did a more thorough cleaning and maintenance on our minisplits than we had from other companies. They explained what was needed and provided the repairs at a reasonable price and did several tests to make sure everything was finally working properly. When you call them make sure to talk with them about their membership program. It has lots of benefits!

  I recently scheduled a technical HVAC diagnostic second opinion with True Comfort, requesting an in-depth analysis rather than a standard tune-up. "I would like to schedule a technical HVAC diagnostic to address a previous inspection that showed 2.8° superheat and a 13.9° temperature split without airflow testing; specifically, I require an operation check, supply and return temperatures, target and actual superheat and subcooling measurements, static pressure testing, and a coil and blower inspection with cleaning if necessary, concluding with a formal note confirming the system is operational at the time of inspection." The technician provided a helpful report showing the system is "nearing the end of its life" due to mechanical wear and low refrigerant levels. I have an existing maintenance contract. When I received the invoice, it was for a $213 maintenance plan. I don't need a maintenance contract; the unit is failing. I followed up to confirm I was billed for a service call rather than a maintenance contract. Logan revisited, he was very thorough in explaining options and offered a reasonable replacement bid.

  I cannot give enough praise for the quality of work that they provided us. After buying our first home, we had a few things we wanted help understanding. We called True Comfort to help us. Something that sets an experience up is the person that answers the phone when you’re in need. Kirstin and Alex made the process go smoothly and got us all set up with everything that we needed. Dawson came out and walked us through how our HVAC system works, and even pointed out that we have a whole-house humidifier, something we didn’t even realize. He took the time to explain how to maintain everything so our home runs efficiently through Iowa’s unpredictable and sometimes harsh seasons. When we started renovating our bathroom, we trusted True Comfort to replace the old bathtub and shower surround. Devin, Dawson, and Jason S handled the removal and installation seamlessly. While working, Devin also caught some plumbing issues we had no idea about. As a master plumber, he is incredibly knowledgeable in his craft, but what stood out most was how well he explained everything so we could understand what was going on. He fixed the problems and made sure that the job was done right. A few months later, we didn’t hesitate to call them again to install two new toilets and a vanity, and due to the heavy rain that we have had, our sump pump also needed repaired. Devin came out, gave us a fair estimate, and clearly explained the process. During the job, he uncovered a bigger issue that wasn’t visible until he began to work on the plumbing. He gave me a call and walked me through what he found and what the repair would entail. We trusted Devin and Jason M to handle whatever was needed, and they absolutely delivered. At one point, Devin told us, “I want to make sure you guys are taken care of,” and that’s exactly what he did. True Comfort consistently goes above and beyond, leaving you with a safer, better home when the job is done. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else for your HVAC and plumbing needs!
