  Really great company. Everyone that’s come out to my home has been incredibly knowledgeable, well trained, friendly, informative and honest. Easily the best experience I’ve had with any type of home repair/maintenance company in several years. I always feel well taken care of but not taken advantage of. It’s a relief to have a company you can rely on these days!

  We had a challenging HVAC/water heater issue that had us stumped — backdrafting on a brand new water heater caused by whole-house negative pressure from our HVAC system. Silas came out and did a thorough whole-home performance and safety evaluation, using proper diagnostic equipment to identify the root cause rather than just guessing or recommending we replace things unnecessarily. He took the time to explain everything, offered a range of solutions, and helped us land on the right fix for our situation. Wyatt handled the installation and was excellent — professional, clean install, great attention to detail on the work itself. Refreshing to work with a company that actually diagnoses the problem and solves it rather than just selling you equipment. Highly recommend.

  Ok! Where to begin? This will probably read like a 3 act play, but I want to make sure to give everyone credit where it is due! I first reached out to Modern Heating & Cooling because I was having issues with my A/C unit. They were able to schedule Trevor to come out and diagnose the issue. He was very professional and did everything in his power to troubleshoot the issue and solve the problem. Unfortunately, it was determined that my system was just too old to be repaired. The only thing I could do is replace the whole thing… but, Trevor informed me that having them come give me a quote is completely free! The diagnostic was not free, just to be clear. Enter Corbin! Corbin came out and took a look at my system, and gave me a quote of what it would cost to get a new one. (I’ll note here that I live in a mobile home, because some companies won’t even work with mobile homes). Corbin ran the numbers down for me, explained the financing options, and made sure I understood what I was getting for the price. He was also very professional and took his time talking with me. I didn’t say yes right away, I’ll be honest, but it was when he reached back out and followed up the following day that sealed the deal! That brings me to today… install day! I had to work, but I was able to give the installation team (Josh, Cody, and Lukas) access to my home. They were still working on it when I got home, which I expected. They were all professional in appearance and attitude. I tried to stay out of their hair as much as possible and let them do their thing (which is really hard because I like to talk to people!) When I did ask questions, they gave me prompt responses! When they finished up the installation, they walked me through the new system. Helped me set up my new smart thermostat and everything!! I never met the owner, but if this is the kind of technicians they hire, I’m guessing they’re a great human being!! I will recommend Modern to anyone who asks!

  I recently had an air conditioner and water heater installed, and the entire experience was outstanding. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and arrived exactly when promised. They stayed focused on the job, worked efficiently, and treated our home with great care. I especially appreciated how careful they were around our landscaping and plants outside, as well as protecting our floors and keeping the work area clean indoors. Their pricing was fair and reasonable, and there were no surprises along the way. One thing that really stood out was that the owner stopped by during the installation just to check in and personally say thank you for the business. That level of customer service is rare and speaks volumes about the company. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing HVAC or water heater work. Excellent service from start to finish!
