  I left a generous 4 star review. I would never recommend Island Comfort. They charge a $99 diagnostic and the AC worked for the next rental guest after they said it didn't work. They said they would call during the diagnostic visit but never did. A salesperson then quoted me $18,000 for a new AC for a 400 square foot condo. I ended up getting a new AC for just over $5,000 elsewhere. But the worst part is that they leave you a voicemail saying you have a PAST DUE with them , yet they never sent an invoice. And there is no email to reach them. There is also no phone number on their invoice. When I finally got an invoice, there is no email address on it (only a do not reply) and they billed my personal name and not the company. I told them it was for a business. Four stars is not a reflection of my experience, it really is a one star. They need to learn to operate business to business. I need a proper invoice to the business, as I am not personally responsible. You give us an invoice and we pay it. Give us a proper invoice. This is business. They want to get paid but won't follow very normal business protocol. I don't get it.

  I had a multiple split AC system installed at my home by Island Comfort some time ago. Two of the units started malfunctioning so I tried to contact Island Comfort several times but all I could do was leave a message for which I never received a response. I then called another AC company who determined that the outside condenser unit was installed incorrectly by being undersized for the job which lead to premature condenser failure. The 20 amp electric service they installed was also marginal for the system requirements. If they had only responded to my phone call, my review could have been much better.

  Rocky and his team installed a split A/C system into our two sided condo. The system had three controllers and one condenser. Island Comfort was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. They always showed up on time, performed high quality work, and addressed all our concerns completely with professionalism and island aloha. Kari even coordinated our HOA approval while we were out of the country. I would use them again without any reservation.

  Outstanding customer service, quality workmanship, they also provided easy financing for our ac system in Lihue. I'd recommend them to all my friends and family.
