  Summer is the worst time to get an A/C maintenance done but I have had my Fujitsu 36K split since 2004 and have only used it in the summer on rare hot days so I’ve never sought to have maintenance done . . . That is until this very hot summer when I wondered how long my luck was going to last. I tried booking in early summer with a highly rated service, still in business, who I had another system (long failed) installed and serviced but he said he was booked for several months and wouldn’t even answer when asked if I could book in advance. So I checked Yelp and Google and came across Cooling Hawaii. I was very impressed with the woman who answered my initial call - I didn’t expect that any office person would be so knowledgeable, and she answered all of my questions in detail, provoking more questions and answering them all. She booked me 3-4 weeks at the earliest appointment. The company sent text and email reminders about my appointment. Diego, an energetic, upbeat young man, arrived on time yesterday (I commented about how the system was probably older than he was, and he assured me that it wasn’t and he was 4 years old at the time it was installed). He cleaned out the old (ancient, in my words) system that was full of rust in a matter of fact manner, as I questioned him about the realities of maintaining it. His answers were detailed and very informative and open ended for me to make my own decision about whether to pursue what appeared to be a minor problem of internal leaking from a possible cracked pan (unable to see it without dismantling the entire system), along with an estimate of the cost to fix that possibility. His knowledge base, honest and matter-of-fact demeanor, the expert manner in which he conducted his maintenance process were all very impressive. This company will go into my Contacts, and I am sure they will be around for a very long time.

  Amazing staff who are thorough and accommodating. Even if you’re in a pinch with last minute ac outage emergencies during the summer, they have options for emergency visits to diagnose and repair if nothing needs to be ordered in. We’ve used this company to install new ac units, maintenances, and emergency fixes. Ray is the guy you’ll be stoked to see and will trust to fix things up for you and take care of whatever you hit going on. Thank you for always taking care of our home and Ohana, Ray!
