If you are looking for frameless glass showers or mirror projects, Great Dane Glass and Mirror is the place to go! The owner, Mike, was extremely helpful in talking me through a problem I was having with my existing frameless glass shower door. I even stopped by his shop in Woodstock and got to meet his great Dane, Ziggy! Mike was friendly and extremely helpful in talking me through the problem and I assured him that if I ever need glass or mirror work, I would definitely seek him out.

Bad attitudes. Just remodeled 2 bathrooms. We had stall showers installed in place of standard bath tubs. The tile technician was the perfect professional. He was very precise and meticulous. Called them back because 2 showers doors that they installed would not open or close smoothly. Once the sweeps were installed the doors were too tight top open or close reasonably. It was so bad that my wife could not open either of the doors by herself. When the same guys the installed the glass arrived for the warranty call they showed up with an extremely aggressive and demeaning attitude. Their fix for the problem was to cut the sweep down so that it did not even touch the sill, so now the sweep serves n purpose at all. We have used them in the past and were happy with their product, but the service we received this time will preclude us from ever using them again. Just understand that the owner may come to measure and sell, but he will not be performing the install. Good luck!

Do you repair showers?
We can adjust frameless showers. We cannot repair leaks or guarantee to stop leaks on installations that are not ours. We are unable to repair framed shower doors because there are so many different manufacturers and unique parts involved. Unfortunately, this makes it difficult for us to source the correct components and complete repairs at a fair and reasonable price.
If we buy a shower door from Home Depot, Lowes, online, etc., can you install it?
We are unable to install enclosures or other materials that were not purchased through our shop. Because we cannot verify the quality, completeness, or compatibility of products sourced elsewhere, we cannot guarantee their performance or assume liability for any damage or installation issues. For these reasons, we only install enclosures and materials purchased directly from our shop.
Are frameless showers expensive?
Frameless shower doors are a premium investment, but they offer one of the most effective ways to transform the look and feel of your bathroom without the cost and disruption of a full remodel.

The cost of a frameless shower door is typically determined by several factors, including the size of the enclosure, the type of hardware selected, the thickness and style of the glass, and the labor required for professional installation. Because each shower is custom measured and built, pricing varies based on the unique specifications of your project.
How long is the process of getting a frameless shower?
Our lead time can vary depending on our schedule, but in most cases, your shower enclosure will be installed within 2 weeks of receiving your 50% deposit.
Do you have a warranty on frameless showers?
We provide a one-year limited warranty on labor, and we honor the hardware manufacturers’ hardware warranty. Although warranty service calls are uncommon, the most frequent request is for a routine door adjustment. This typically occurs shortly after installation as the hinge gaskets compress during normal use. We may also receive calls soon after installation regarding minor silicone gaps. We are happy to repair these issues as part of our warranty when they are related to the original installation.
Please note that we are not able to clean and reapply silicone throughout the life of the shower. Silicone is considered a routine maintenance item and is the homeowner's responsibility and is not covered under the limited warranty.
What is the thickness of frameless shower glass?
Over 90% of the glass we use in frameless showers is 3/8” clear tempered glass. In some cases we use 1/2” clear tempered glass or a combination of 3/8” and 1/2” depending on the design.
