I called BC Septic yesterday and they showed up right on time today. They did a great job and were very professional. They took the time to explain how the entire system works, the front tank, the back tank, and the filter, which I really appreciated. It’s nice when someone is willing to educate the homeowner while they’re doing the work.
The service was thorough, the price was fair, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. I will definitely use BC Septic again and highly recommend them to anyone needing septic service.

Company came out quick and was able to find the location of our septic tank. Wife said they were very respectful and finished up pretty fast. No complaints or issues. Will definitely be recommending and using them again in the future.

Frequently Asked Questions About BC Septic
How often should a septic tank be pumped?
Most septic tanks require pumping every 3-5 years, though this depends on factors such as household size, tank capacity, and daily water consumption. Routine pumping is essential to prevent accumulation of solid waste, which can block the drain field and result in costly system failures.
What are the signs that a septic system is failing?
Common warning signs include:
Slow drains or gurgling sounds in pipes
Sewage odors indoors or outdoors
Pooling water or saturated areas in your yard
Sewage backing up into sinks or toilets
Identifying these symptoms early can help you avoid expensive repairs or complete system replacement.
How does a septic system work?
A septic system consists of two primary components:
Septic tank: separates solid waste (sludge) and floating oils (scum) from wastewater
Drain field: filters the treated liquid (effluent) through the soil
The system depends on natural biological processes within the tank and surrounding soil to decompose waste and safely release water back into the environment.
