  I haven’t necessarily had a bad experience with this company, but I’m becoming less confident in the recommendations I’m receiving and, as a result, less sure that I can trust them. I recently had an air conditioner replaced and another unit repaired. Then, during routine maintenance, I was told that additional units now need to be replaced, with an estimated cost of more than $20,000. A new technician has since told me that more of the units are “dying,” making unusual noises, and need to be replaced. One of the units being recommended for replacement was just recently repaired. I understand that HVAC systems have a finite lifespan and that repairs can sometimes reveal larger problems. My concern is that everything seemed to be functioning, and then suddenly I was being told that multiple units needed replacement. I was also offered a significant discount if I committed to the replacements and given financing options, which are convenient but also made me question whether I was being encouraged to make a very large purchase before getting another opinion. I’m not saying the recommendations are necessarily wrong, and I haven’t personally had a bad experience with the technicians. I simply don’t know whether these units truly need to be replaced right now or whether I’m being encouraged to replace equipment that still has useful life left in it. At this point, I plan to get an independent second opinion before spending another $20,000+ on HVAC replacements. I’m disappointed because I would prefer to continue using a company I’ve had an otherwise reasonable experience with, but trust is important when you’re being asked to make a significant investment.

  Jeycon Lopez Hernandez and James Hayes were outstanding in every way. They were very focused on our comfort during the installation process and at all times doing a very professional job. Their work was focused and they left our home and premises immaculate. They were excellent at trouble shooting and went over and beyond making sure systems in our home were working. It was a pleasure to have them in our home. They are both wonderful assets to Air Control Heating and Air, which we highly recommend.

  Ken is an excellent technician who puts customer service first! Ken not only does the regular maintenance, he does the extra service to make sure your system will perform at peak efficiency, One of our HVAC systems is in the Attic and the roof was recently replaced. Ken noticed that the roofers has knocked loose a lot of saw dust and trash in the drain pan. Ken took the extra time to clean it out to ensure that the drain would not get clogged. In addition, Ken put Clorox down the drain to help remove any of the material that that might have collected in the line. I hope that all our future scheduled service appointments are handled by Ken.

  They’ve been servicing our AC units more than 10 years now. They’re very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. We had Ken service our units today. He was professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend the company.
