Wished I would have went with a reliable company. When the 1st guy who came out install the wiring, to our very expensive gates and motors, we found the outside flexible conduit was breaking exposing the wires. I opened the motor box and OMG, he had cut and used a cheap household extension cord and spliced it into the power source for the whole system . I called the company and they told me that man no longer work there. So they sent out the lead technician. He looked at his work and said this is the reason why he no longer works here. They had to redo everything. Ok that’s done, now every time someone rings the call button at the gate, the internet and phone system shuts off. I call them back and they said it’s my phone company. I call the phone company and they find a broken wire in the call box on the gate call box. After multiple calls Controlled Access comes out and repairs again their screwup. I spent extra dollars to protect myself from Power surges so I had them install 3 different types of equipment to help with this. We have a power outage and it kills the motherboard. $700 later they tell me the surge protectors helped, really! I call the office and ask to speak to the service manager and Sharon the head office personnel tells me he’s out sick, okay have him call me back. I tell her I feel that I shouldn’t have to pay for the $700 bill based on the equipment they installed. She agreed and said he would call me back. I called back two times within a three month Because I never heard back from the service manager. Then I received a letter stating they’re going to take me to court because of nonpayment. I call Sharon back and told her that the service manager never called me to discuss my claim. She puts me through to the manager and he tells me she never gave him the message and he thought it was taken care of. And that they could not control mother nature. They need to change their name from Controlled Access to what ever happens. So they lower the bill to $600 and some change. I pay with a credit card over the phone and Sharon tells me she will run it tomorrow, ok. Several days pass by and my American Express company calls me and tells me there is a fraudulent charge coming from a company called Redi Floor, had I done business with them. I said no. American Express cuts my card off because they believe that I have been compromised and now I have to have my credit card reissued. Come to find out Redi floor owns Controlled Access and being the professional company they are can’t afford their own credit card processor. Again they cause lots of confusion for me the customer. Lie after lie. I will take my business to someone who is competent.
